Tnt Barrage Rod

Quickstart

1. In Survival, obtain TNT to unlock the rod’s crafting recipe, then craft it at a crafting table. See Crafting And Obtaining.
2. Equip the rod, aim at a target, and use it. In Creative, look for it in the Equipment category.
3. Try it in a wide, empty area: each use sends 3,000 TNT to a single target point. Keep clear of the blast and anything you want to protect.

Overview

The Tnt Barrage Rod turns your aim into the destination for a huge burst of TNT. It spawns the explosives at that point rather than firing a projectile along your line of sight.

Get TNT to unlock the recipe, then craft the rod at a crafting table:

Abilities And Mechanics

• If your aim hits a block within 100 blocks, the TNT appears centered above that block. Liquids and passable blocks don’t count as targets.
• If no block is hit, the rod uses a point about 100 blocks along your line of sight.
• Each use releases 3,000 TNT in rapid batches of 30 per game tick. The barrage is concentrated at the selected point, so use it far from builds, players, and anything else you want to keep safe.
