Five spawn eggs let you practice against any champion outside a formal session:
Each egg spawns a practice boss with a live boss bar visible to nearby players. The entity removes itself automatically upon death.
Run one of:
/colosseum build — standard stone arena/colosseum build fire — fire-themed arena variantThe arena structure is placed in the world at your current location. Make sure there is enough flat, open space.
/colosseum start <boss>
Replace <boss> with the boss name (e.g., titus_ironclad, nyxara, thal_vorgath, arena_eternal, end_of_all). The fight begins with dramatic sound cues and arena announcements. Each fight progresses through phases; the arena itself transforms as phases advance.
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
/colosseum start <boss> | Begin a boss encounter |
/colosseum status | View current session progress |
/colosseum rewards | Collect any pending loot |
/colosseum reset | Clear the current session |
/colosseum eggs | Grant yourself all five boss spawn eggs |
Use /colosseum eggs to obtain all five spawn eggs. Right-click to place them anywhere in your world. Practice bosses behave like full champions and display a boss bar to nearby players, but they despawn automatically when killed so your world stays clean.
Reward items drop directly from boss encounters. They are also used as ingredients in the three decorative block recipes below.
Colosseum Marble — uses Emperor's Tusks as the centerpiece, surrounded by Chiseled Quartz and Gold Blocks:

Enchanted Obsidian — uses Veilcloak alongside Crying Obsidian, an End Crystal, Chorus Fruit, and Amethyst Shards:

Phantom Crowd Stone — uses Ironclad Plate alongside Soul Lanterns, a Calibrated Sculk Sensor, Soul Sand, and Blue Orchids:

All three block recipes are available in your recipe book as soon as you join a world.
Fights take place inside a living arena that reacts to each boss phase:
Every champion transitions through multiple phases. Phase transitions are signalled by dramatic sound cues and on-screen announcements. The arena itself may transform between phases — don't expect the same footing throughout the fight.
Defeating all five main Colosseum champions causes The King to unlock and queue automatically — no command required. The King is a royal undead monarch with a custom appearance, phase-based hazards, guard summons, and a unique loot table. He represents the true final challenge of the Colosseum.
Tip: Use
/colosseum eggsto practice a specific champion before committing to a formal session. Spawn eggs let you learn attack patterns without touching your session progress.
