Description
Adds a small themed content pack centered on a new Creative Mode tab called The Chilly Oasis and three decorative blocks: Chilled Sandstone, Oasis Ice, and Palm Thatch. Each block comes as a placeable BlockItem with custom textures and models, is mineable and self-dropping, and can be made in survival using crafted recipes so you can build with them naturally in both Survival and Creative. Find everything in the new The Chilly Oasis creative tab or craft the blocks in your world to expand your builds with a frosty-oasis aesthetic.

Quickstart
- Open your inventory and navigate to the The Chilly Oasis creative tab (look for the Oasis Ice icon) to grab all three blocks instantly in Creative Mode.
- In Survival, craft any of the three blocks at a crafting table using the recipes below — all ingredients are easy to find in desert and snowy biomes.
- Place the blocks anywhere to start building your frosty-oasis aesthetic structures!
Overview
The Chilly Oasis adds three decorative building blocks with a unique frosty-desert theme. Whether you're constructing a frozen desert temple, an icy oasis retreat, or a palm-roofed shelter, these blocks provide a cohesive palette for creative and survival builders alike. All three blocks are self-dropping when mined, so you never lose your materials.

Abilities And Mechanics
- Self-dropping: Mining any of the three blocks always returns the block itself (provided it survives an explosion), so you can freely reposition your builds.
- Chilled Sandstone is sturdy — it shares the durability profile of regular Sandstone and has stone-like sounds underfoot.
- Oasis Ice is lighter and makes a glassy sound when placed or broken. It behaves similarly to Packed Ice.
- Palm Thatch is the softest of the three, with a grassy sound and low blast resistance — ideal for roofing details but not fortifications.
Progression And Strategy
- All crafting ingredients (Sandstone, Ice, Cactus, Wheat, Jungle Leaves) are obtainable in early to mid Survival, making these blocks accessible without advanced progression.
- Combine Chilled Sandstone for walls and foundations, Oasis Ice for windows or decorative highlights, and Palm Thatch for roofs to achieve a cohesive frosty-oasis build style.
- Mine blocks with the appropriate tool (pickaxe for stone/ice blocks, hoe for thatch) to break them quickly and retrieve them efficiently.

This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
