Quickstart

Overview

The Tatsumaki Mark III is a powerful rare-tier sword built for cutting through groups of enemies. Every kill triggers a red particle shockwave that automatically damages surrounding foes, making it especially deadly when you're surrounded. It pairs netherite-grade durability with a clean, no-penalty attack feel.

Abilities And Mechanics

Base Attack

• Deals 10 damage per hit (5 hearts).
• No attack cooldown penalties or slowness effects when swinging.
• Use left-click to swing normally. Right-click does not perform any special action.

Kill Shockwave

When you land the killing blow on a mob, the sword erupts at the death location with a large red particle shockwave:

• All non-player entities within a 5-block radius take 8 damage (4 hearts).
• Each affected entity also spawns its own red particle burst.
• A distinctive kill sound plays at the death location.
• The shockwave never harms you, the slain target, dropped items, XP orbs, or other players.

Durability

The sword can also be enchanted in any enchanting slot that accepts swords.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Tatsumaki Mark III is crafted at a Crafting Table. The recipe unlocks once you have a Diamond Sword in your inventory.

To repair it, combine the sword with Netherite Ingots on an Anvil. Each ingot restores roughly 203 durability.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft early, sustain late. The sword outpaces netherite tools in raw damage while matching their lifespan, making it a strong upgrade as soon as you can source the recipe materials.
• Use the shockwave aggressively. In mob-dense areas (mob farms, dungeons, raids), focus the strongest or most clustered enemy first — the kill burst will soften or finish nearby mobs for free.
• Keep Netherite Ingots on hand for repairs, especially during extended combat sessions. The sword only loses durability on successful hits, so misses are free.
• Enchant for maximum value. The sword accepts all standard sword enchantments (Sharpness, Looting, Fire Aspect, etc.), which stack directly with its base damage and shockwave.
