Taffybone Skeleton

Quickstart

Taffybone Skeletons spawn naturally in the overworld just like regular skeletons, so you'll encounter them on your own without any setup. If you want to spawn one immediately, find the Taffybone Skeleton Spawn Egg in the Spawn Eggs creative inventory tab and right-click it on the ground. Once spawned, keep your distance and have a shield or ranged weapon ready — it will fire arrows at you on sight, day or night.

Overview

The Taffybone Skeleton is a colorful undead mob with a laffy taffy-inspired look. It shares the skeleton's body shape and ranged combat style but stands out with its vivid custom texture. The most important thing to know: it does not burn in sunlight. While a normal skeleton catches fire at dawn, the Taffybone Skeleton roams freely at all hours, making it a constant threat rather than a nighttime-only danger.

What It Adds

How To Use

Encountering in survival: Taffybone Skeletons spawn in overworld biomes among other monster spawns. Because they aren't harmed by daylight, you can run into them at any time — don't assume that surviving the night means you're safe come morning.

Spawn Egg (Creative/Commands): The spawn egg is available in the creative Spawn Eggs tab. You can also use /give with the egg or /summon taffybone-skeleton-fkcsbtar:taffybone_skeleton_fkcsbtar to place one wherever you like.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Ranged Attack: Fires arrows at players, identical in behavior to a standard skeleton.
• Daylight Immunity: Unlike regular skeletons, the Taffybone Skeleton is completely unaffected by sunlight and will never catch fire during the day.
• Hostile Targeting: Actively pursues and attacks players on sight, regardless of the time of day or weather.
• Spawn Rate: Appears in small groups (1–3 at a time) across all overworld biomes.

Progression And Strategy

Because Taffybone Skeletons can appear at any hour, you should treat the overworld as perpetually dangerous once this mod is installed. A few tips:

• Shields are especially effective since they block arrow volleys while you close the gap.
• High ground or cover lets you avoid arrows and return fire safely.
• Armor up early — the Taffybone Skeleton hits just as hard as a regular skeleton, and you may face it unexpectedly during daytime resource gathering.
• Loot drops follow standard skeleton behavior: bones, arrows, and occasionally a bow.
