Sulfer Sword

Quickstart

1. Gather Sulphur (available naturally or through your usual survival methods).
2. Craft a Polished Sulfer Block using 4 Sulphur in a crafting table.
3. Craft the Sulfer Sword using 2 Polished Sulfer Blocks and a stick.
4. Equip the sword in your hand and swing it at a hostile mob or another player.
5. Watch out — landing a hit on a player inflicts Nausea, so this weapon is best used tactically!

Overview

The Sulfer Sword adds a powerful new melee weapon built around sulfur. It hits harder than a diamond sword and comes with a nasty side effect when used against other players: a bout of Nausea that disorients them for several seconds. To build it, you'll first need to process raw Sulphur into a sturdy new building material, the Polished Sulfer Block.

What It Adds

• Polished Sulfer Block – A decorative, durable construction block crafted from Sulphur. It's tough to mine and resistant to explosions, making it a solid choice for both crafting and building.
• Sulfer Sword – A high-damage melee weapon crafted from Polished Sulfer Blocks and a stick. It deals heavy damage per hit and applies Nausea to any player it strikes.

Crafting And Obtaining

First, craft the Polished Sulfer Block from Sulphur:

Abilities And Mechanics

• Massive Damage: The Sulfer Sword deals significantly more damage per swing than a standard sword, making it excellent for taking down tough mobs quickly.
• Nausea on Hit: Whenever the sword strikes another player, that player is afflicted with Nausea for about 10 seconds, distorting their view and making it harder for them to fight back or navigate. This effect only triggers against players — mobs simply take the normal damage without the Nausea effect.
• Durability: The sword has limited durability and gradually wears down with use. It can be repaired using gold ingots at a repair station or by combining it with another Sulfer Sword.
• Enchantable: Like other swords, it can be enchanted at an enchanting table to further boost its combat effectiveness.

Progression And Strategy

The Sulfer Sword is a strong mid-to-late game weapon once you've stockpiled enough Sulphur to craft the Polished Sulfer Blocks. Its Nausea effect makes it especially effective in PvP situations, since a well-timed hit can disorient an opponent and give you an opening to follow up with more attacks. Keep gold ingots on hand to repair the blade between fights, and consider enchanting it for even greater durability and damage output.
