Quickstart
- Craft the Stitcher Doll using the recipe below.
- Equip it in your off-hand slot.

- Keep it equipped to enjoy passive combat and hunger buffs while it rests.
- Open its storage menu to withdraw items you've collected whenever you need them.
Overview
Stitcher adds a single magical trinket: the Stitcher Doll, a stitched charm you wear in your off-hand rather than wield. Once equipped, the doll comes alive in a quiet, unsettling way — it reaches out toward nearby loose loot, pulling items into an endless internal stash while granting its wearer subtle protective and sustaining effects. It functions as a living, self-filling storage pouch and passive buff charm all in one.
What It Adds
- Stitcher Doll — an off-hand charm item that:
- Automatically vacuums up nearby dropped items into infinite internal storage.
- Grants temporary combat and hunger-related buffs whenever it feeds.
- Provides a slow, passive protective aura while simply worn.
- Lets you browse and withdraw anything it has stored, whenever you like.
How To Use
- Equip it right: The doll must be placed in your off-hand to activate — it does nothing sitting in your main hand or inventory.
- Let it feed: While worn, the doll periodically sweeps the area around you, gathering nearby dropped items into its storage. You don't need to pick anything up yourself — just stay close to loot and let the doll absorb it over a few seconds.
- Watch the action bar: Status messages appear on your action bar when the doll releases items back to you, or when your inventory is too full to accept them.
- Gluttony buff: After the doll feeds, it grants a temporary buff to its wearer, rewarding you for staying near loot and letting the doll work.
- Passive aura: Even without feeding, simply keeping the doll in your off-hand triggers a recurring, gentle protective effect every few seconds.
- Access your stash: Open the doll's menu to see everything it has stored. Select an item to withdraw a chosen amount back into your inventory. If your inventory doesn't have room, the excess stays safely stored inside the doll for later.
- Infinite storage: The doll's internal stash has no practical limit — it can hold enormous quantities of stacked loot, chunked and preserved even across sessions.
Crafting And Obtaining
The Stitcher Doll is crafted at a crafting table:
The recipe uses Nether Star and Bedrock — rare, late-game materials — so obtaining the doll is meant to be a notable milestone rather than an early-game convenience.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Loot Capture: While worn in the off-hand, the doll periodically scans the surrounding area for dropped items and pulls them into its storage automatically, over several short pulses.
- Gluttony Buff: Successfully devouring loot triggers a temporary combat/hunger-oriented buff on the wearer, lasting around several seconds.
- Passive Mending Aura: Simply wearing the doll (without feeding) periodically refreshes a mild protective effect on the wearer, keeping it active as long as the doll stays equipped.
- Infinite Storage: All devoured items are tracked per player and stored indefinitely — there is no cap on how much loot the doll can hold.
- Withdrawal System: A simple menu lets you pick any stored item type and choose an amount to withdraw back into your inventory. Leftover items that don't fit remain stored safely.
Progression And Strategy
- Because it requires a Nether Star, crafting the Stitcher Doll is best pursued after defeating the Wither, making it a strong late-game utility item.
- Use it during long looting sessions, mob farms, or raids — instead of managing overflowing inventory, let the doll passively soak up excess drops while you keep fighting or exploring.
- Its buffs reward proximity to loot, so it synergizes well with grinding areas with lots of item drops, like farms or battle sites.
- Since the doll holds unlimited items, it doubles as a portable long-term storage solution — handy for hoarding resources without needing chests nearby.
