Snowity Skycaller

Quickstart

1. Obtain a Snowity Skycaller from the Combat section of the Creative inventory, or craft one using the recipe below.
2. Hold the item in either hand.
3. Use it to activate Snowity. You will receive Levitation for 5 seconds and Slow Falling for 7 seconds, allowing you to rise safely.
4. Be ready for danger: an angry Vex appears a short distance in the direction you are looking and immediately targets you.
5. After use, wait 5 seconds before activating the item again.

The item is reusable and is not consumed when activated.

Overview

Snowity Skycaller is a single-use-at-a-time skycalling item that launches you upward while summoning a hostile winged monster. Use it for a quick aerial escape, dramatic flight, or a challenge where you must survive the Vex it unleashes.

How To Use

Hold the Snowity Skycaller and use it with your normal item-use control, such as right-click.

On activation:

• You rise with Levitation for 100 ticks, or 5 seconds.
• You receive Slow Falling for 140 ticks, or 7 seconds.
• A Vex spawns about three blocks ahead of you and one block above your position.
• The Vex becomes hostile toward you immediately.
• The item enters a 100-tick, or 5-second, cooldown.

The Vex’s position is based on your look direction, so face toward an open area before activating the item. Avoid using it in a cramped space unless you are prepared for the monster to appear nearby.

Crafting And Obtaining

The crafting recipe unlocks automatically after you enter a world. It requires:

• Feathers
• White wool
• A snowball
• Phantom membranes
• A ghast tear

The shaped recipe produces one Snowity Skycaller. You can also obtain the item from the Combat section of the Creative inventory.

Abilities And Mechanics

Skyward Launch

Levitation lifts you into the air for five seconds. Slow Falling lasts two seconds longer, giving you time to descend after the levitation ends and helping protect you from the resulting fall.

Angry Winged Monster

Each activation summons one hostile Vex near you. It is not a friendly companion—the Vex is the challenge Snowity creates and will attack its user.

Cooldown

The item has a five-second cooldown. It can be activated again once the cooldown ends, provided you still have it in your inventory.

Enchanting

Snowity Skycaller is recognized as an enchantable weapon. Applicable weapon enchantments can be used with it where supported by the game’s enchanting systems.

Progression And Strategy

• Gather phantom membranes and a ghast tear before planning to craft the item.
• Activate it outdoors or in a large room so the Vex has space to appear.
• Use the levitation period to reach rooftops, cliffs, towers, or other high ground.
• Keep a weapon and shield ready before activation; the Vex appears close to you.
• Take advantage of Slow Falling to cross gaps or descend safely after the launch.
• Since the item is reusable, wait out the cooldown and use it again when another ascent is worthwhile.
