Snifflet

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and search for Snifflet to find the Snifflet Spawn Egg, or find one naturally out in the Overworld.
2. Use the spawn egg on any block to summon a Snifflet.
3. Watch it wander around — it will sniff the ground, dig, and dig up seeds just like its bigger cousin, the Sniffer.
4. Stand back and let it work; it's a peaceful creature and won't attack you or other mobs.

Overview

The Snifflet is a small, blue-topped baby version of the Sniffer, roaming the Overworld and sniffing out seeds. It behaves just like a full-sized Sniffer, but shrunk down and recolored, making it a cute addition to the ancient seed-hunting gameplay loop.

What It Adds

• Snifflet — a passive mob that spawns naturally in Overworld biomes.
• Snifflet Spawn Egg — found in the Spawn Eggs tab of the Creative inventory, used to summon Snifflets on demand.

How To Use

• Spawning naturally: Snifflets spawn on their own while exploring the Overworld, alongside other passive wildlife.
• Spawning with the egg: Grab the Snifflet Spawn Egg from Creative mode and right-click (or use) on the ground to place one wherever you like.
• Watching it work: Once spawned, a Snifflet will wander, sniff at patches of ground, and dig to unearth seeds, exactly like a Sniffer does — just smaller.
• Interacting: Snifflets are peaceful and can be safely approached, led, or observed without any danger.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for the Snifflet. It is obtained by:

• Encountering one naturally while exploring Overworld biomes, or
• Using the Snifflet Spawn Egg from the Creative inventory's Spawn Eggs section.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Sniffs the ground to search for buried seeds, then digs them up, just like a vanilla Sniffer.
• Moves and behaves peacefully — it does not fight or flee aggressively.
• Visually smaller than a normal Sniffer, with a distinctive blue-topped appearance, making it easy to tell apart at a glance.
• Casts a smaller shadow to match its reduced size.

Progression And Strategy

Since the Snifflet shares its seed-finding behavior with the Sniffer, keep an eye on where it digs — it can turn up seeds you might not otherwise be able to obtain easily. Letting a few Snifflets roam near flower fields or grassy areas is a passive way to gather seeds over time without any extra effort on your part.
