Skyforge Ascension
Quickstart
- Spawn — You appear on a small floating starter island. Open the chests nearby for starter gear and check your autofill recipe book for instant crafting hints.
- Earn coins — Kill mobs, fish, and collect resources. Coins persist across sessions and fund upgrades.
- Open the K-menu — Your primary progression hub. Spend coins on upgrades like Swing Range and Mending (XP-to-heal).
- Place a Minion — Craft an Iron Minion or Coal Minion and place it on your island to generate resources automatically.
- Visit the Stats Shop — Spend coins to boost RPG stats (Health, Strength, Defense, etc.).
- Unlock Collections — Gather specific resources to unlock Collection rewards and expand your crafting options.
- Socket your gear — Craft a Socket Puncher, place it, right-click it with armor or a weapon to punch in sockets, craft Gemstones, then combine a Gemstone with a socketed item on a regular anvil.
Overview
Skyforge Ascension transforms Minecraft into a SkyBlock-style RPG. Starting from a floating island with nothing but a few chests, you gather resources, unlock Collections, recruit villagers, build and upgrade Minions, and fight escalating waves of mobs and bosses — all while accumulating persistent coins and RPG stat bonuses. The mod draws inspiration from Hypixel SkyBlock, adding its own weapon types, accessory system, enchanting UI, reforging, socketing, fishing overhaul, and rebirth progression.

Weapons
- Whip — Unique melee weapon crafted from string and leather.
- Yoyo family — Five tiers: Wooden → Stone → Iron → Diamond → Netherite. Upgraded progressively; the Netherite Yoyo uses a Smithing Table.
Accessories
Equip accessories in your Accessory Bag to gain passive bonuses. Three accessory tiers exist for most effects: Talisman → Ring → Artifact.
Notable accessories include:
- Feather Talisman / Ring / Artifact — fall-related bonuses
- Fire Talisman — fire resistance
- Farming Talisman — farming bonuses
- Bait Ring, Sea Creature Ring, Sea Creature Artifact — fishing specialization
- Emerald Ring, Experience Artifact, Farmer Orb, Stylebender Artifact, and more
Enrichments
Eleven Enrichment items apply small RPG stat bonuses to accessories:
- Health, Defense, Strength, Speed, Intelligence
- Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Ferocity, Attack Speed
- Magic Find, Sea Creature Chance
Minions
Autonomous workers placed on your island. Each minion type collects a specific resource. Minions can be upgraded with:
- Compactor / Super Compactor — auto-compresses drops
- Storage Expansion — increases internal storage
- Auto Smelter — smelts raw drops
- Fuel Upgrade — speeds up production
- Diamond Spreading — chance to duplicate outputs
Minion types include: Iron, Coal, Cobblestone, Diamond, Emerald, Gold, Glowstone, End Stone, Cactus, Carrot, Cocoa Beans, Dark Oak, Birch, Acacia, and many more.
Enchanted Materials
Bulk-crafted from stacks of base materials. Used in higher-tier recipes and Collections. Most have a Refined variant for even denser crafting.
Examples: Enchanted Iron, Enchanted Coal, Enchanted Diamond, Enchanted Mithril, Enchanted Lapis Lazuli Block, Enchanted Quartz Block, and dozens more.
Fishing
- Baits attract specific fish and sea creatures.
- Sea Creature combat encounters triggered while fishing.
- Fishing bosses provide high-value loot.
- Bait Ring, Sea Creature Ring, and Sea Creature Artifact boost fishing stats.
Enchanting
A Hypixel-style enchanting UI accepts enchanted Books and EPIC+ items. Use the Spell Binder and Page Maker to craft and bind spell scrolls to spellbooks.
Rebirth & Progression
- Rebirth system — Prestige-style resets with permanent bonuses.
- K-menu upgrades — Swing Range, Mending (XP-to-heal), and others.
- Stats Shop — Buy permanent stat increases with coins.
- Heart Crystal — Crafted item that raises your max health.
How To Use
Socket Puncher
- Craft and place the Socket Puncher block.
- Right-click it while holding eligible armor, a tool/weapon, or an accessory.
- Up to 3 sockets are punched into the item.
- Craft a Gemstone.
- Combine the Gemstone with the socketed item on a regular anvil to fill one socket and grant a small RPG stat bonus.
- Repeat for additional sockets.
Reforge Anvil
Place the Reforge Anvil and interact with it. Insert your gear and a Reforge Material to apply a random reforge modifier, changing the item's stats. Reroll as many times as your materials allow.
Recombobulator 3000
Upgrades an item's rarity tier (e.g., RARE → EPIC), unlocking access to the Hypixel-style enchanting UI for higher-tier items.
Accessory Bag
Open your Accessory Bag from your inventory to equip talismans, rings, and artifacts. All equipped accessories provide their passive bonuses simultaneously. Apply Enrichments to accessories here for additional stat boosts.
Minions
- Place a minion on any solid surface on your island.
- The minion autonomously collects its resource type.
- Right-click the minion to collect stored items and insert upgrades.
- Higher minion tiers (up to Tier XII for Iron Minions) collect faster and store more.
K-Menu
Press K (default) to open your upgrades menu. Spend coins on permanent passive upgrades. Prioritize Swing Range early for better AoE melee, and Mending for sustain.

RPG Stats
Skyforge Ascension tracks these player stats:
- Health & Defense — Survive hits from mob tiers and bosses.
- Strength — Increases melee and weapon damage.
- Speed — Movement speed bonus.
- Crit Chance / Crit Damage — Affects burst damage.
- Ferocity — Chance to strike multiple times per swing.
- Intelligence — Powers spell abilities.
- Magic Find — Better loot from mobs and bosses.
- Sea Creature Chance — More sea creature encounters while fishing.
- Attack Speed — Faster weapon swing rate.
Stats are raised through: Stats Shop purchases, Enrichments on accessories, Gemstone sockets, Reforge Anvil modifiers, Heart Crystals, and K-menu upgrades.
Yoyo Mechanics
Yoyos are thrown forward and orbit the player briefly, hitting nearby enemies. Netherite Yoyos deal the most damage. They function as mid-range melee weapons well-suited for crowd control.
Whip Mechanics
The Whip reaches farther than a standard sword and is effective against mob packs. Craft it early as a versatile weapon before unlocking better gear.
Mithril
Mine Mithril Ore (found in multiple biome-specific variants) to obtain Mithril ingots. Craft Mithril Powder as a crafting intermediate. Enchanted Mithril and Refined Enchanted Mithril are used in high-tier gear.
Fishing Bosses & Sea Creatures
While fishing, there is a chance (increased by Sea Creature Chance stat and the Sea Creature Ring/Artifact) to hook a sea creature that must be fought. Fishing bosses drop rare loot. Use appropriate Baits to influence what you catch.
Progression And Strategy
Early Game
- Loot starter chests and establish a cobblestone or iron farm manually.
- Craft your first Minion (Iron or Cobblestone) and place it immediately — passive generation is key.
- Unlock early Collections to access new crafting recipes.
- Craft a Whip or Iron Yoyo for better early combat.
- Buy a few Stats Shop upgrades (Health first, then Strength).
Mid Game
- Build multiple Minion types and add Compactor and Fuel upgrades.
- Craft the Reforge Anvil and begin reforging armor and weapons.
- Collect talismans and fill your Accessory Bag. Apply Enrichments for stat tuning.
- Punch sockets into your best gear with the Socket Puncher and fill them with Gemstones.
- Upgrade your yoyo to Diamond tier.
- Begin fishing seriously — equip the Bait Ring and Sea Creature Ring for better encounters and loot.
Late Game
- Craft the Stylebender Artifact (requires Nether Star) and other high-tier accessories.
- Push toward Netherite Yoyo and fully reforged armor sets.
- Complete Collection milestones to unlock the best passive bonuses.
- Farm Enchanted and Refined Enchanted materials for top-tier crafts.
- Use the Recombobulator 3000 to push gear to EPIC+ rarity, then apply the Hypixel-style enchanting UI.
- Complete a Rebirth for permanent bonuses and start the cycle at a stronger baseline.
- Tackle combat and fishing bosses for the rarest drops in the mod.
