Quickstart

1. Open your inventory — the Skyfire Radio recipe is unlocked automatically for all players.
2. Craft the radio using the recipe below and hold it in your hand.
3. Face the direction you want the airstrike to travel.
4. Right-click to call it in.

Overview

The Skyfire Radio is a military-style walkie-talkie that calls in a devastating B-2 Spirit bomber airstrike. The moment you use it, a radio message blares to every player on the server, a bomber visibly flies overhead in the direction you were facing, and 200 terrain-tracking explosions tear through everything in its path.

What It Adds

The Skyfire Radio is found in the Combat item group.

How To Use

1. Hold the Skyfire Radio in either hand.
2. Aim — face the exact direction you want the strike to run. The bomber and bomb line follow your horizontal look direction.
3. Right-click to trigger the airstrike.
4. Move immediately. Explosions begin 10 blocks ahead of you and continue outward for the full blast line.

What Happens After You Fire

• A radio broadcast is sent to all players in the format:

  [RADIO] YourName: Airstrike called in move out immediately I SAID GO GO GO

• A radio sound plays at your position for all nearby players to hear.
• A B-2 Spirit bomber spawns high above and flies along your aim line.
• 200 explosions drop in sequence, each spaced 2 blocks apart, tracking terrain as they go.
• The radio enters a 10-second cooldown before it can be used again.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Blast line: Explosions start 10 blocks ahead of the caller and extend ~400 blocks along the aimed direction.
• Terrain tracking: Each explosion finds the surface height of the ground below it, so the strike follows hills, valleys, and structures rather than detonating at a fixed altitude.
• Explosion power: Each individual blast is comparable to a TNT explosion (power 4), multiplied across 200 hits — the total destruction is immense.
• Bomber altitude: The B-2 flies roughly 34 blocks above the caller's position, adjusted to stay within world height bounds.
• Cooldown: After firing, the radio is locked for 10 seconds (200 ticks). Plan accordingly — you cannot chain strikes rapidly.

Progression And Strategy

• Pick your angle carefully. The 400-block blast line is devastating to enemies but equally dangerous to you, your teammates, and your own builds if aimed carelessly.
• Create distance fast. The first explosion lands only 10 blocks in front of you. Sprint, fly, or teleport away the instant you right-click.
• Coordinate on multiplayer. The server-wide radio message tips off every player that a strike is inbound. Use that broadcast to your advantage — or expect enemies to scatter.
• Use the cooldown window. Ten seconds is enough time to reposition for a follow-up strike aimed in a different direction once the cooldown expires.
• Save it for large targets. The 200-explosion chain excels at leveling enemy bases, clearing forested chokepoints, or stopping large groups of mobs in a single sweeping line.
