Skybound Dragon Armor
Quickstart
- In Survival, the four shaped recipes are available in the recipe book after you enter a world. Craft the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots at a crafting table using the recipes below.
- Equip one or more pieces in their matching armor slots. Each worn piece automatically gains its enchantments.
- Wear the complete set to gain flight and powerful combat and defensive effects. In Survival or Adventure, double-tap jump to toggle flight; use your usual Minecraft flight controls to steer and descend.
- In Creative, find the armor pieces in the Combat inventory tab.
Overview
Skybound Dragon Armor is a four-piece armor set built for extremely high defense and powerful bonuses. Each piece has ten times the Netherite defense of its matching armor slot.

How To Use
Equip pieces like normal armor. Their enchantments are applied automatically while worn, usually within about a second. The full set is required for flight and the set-wide effects; individual pieces still provide their defense and piece-specific enchantments.

Worn pieces automatically receive powerful enchantments:

Wearing all four pieces grants flight in Survival and Adventure, plus Fire Resistance, Resistance V, and Strength X. These effects are continually refreshed while the full set is equipped.
Progression And Strategy
The recipes call for valuable Nether and End materials, including Netherite, dragon-related drops, and an Elytra. The chestplate recipe also uses a diamond chestplate. Prioritize completing the set to unlock flight and its full set of effects.
