Shiny Card Packs

Quickstart

1. Craft a Basic Card Pack or a Series 2 Card Pack at a crafting table.
2. Right-click (or use) the pack to open it — you'll receive 4 normal cards and 1 shiny card.
3. Craft a Storage Binder and use it to store your cards, track your collection progress, and withdraw cards later.
4. Collect all 25 unique Series 2 cards (normal or shiny counts) to automatically receive The Mythical Master Card.

Overview

Shiny Card Packs turns Minecraft into a card-collecting game. Craft card packs, open them for random collectible cards, chase rare shiny variants, and organize your collection in a Storage Binder. Completing the full Series 2 set rewards you with an exclusive Mythical Master Card.

How To Use

Opening Packs

Using a Basic Card Pack or Series 2 Card Pack consumes the pack and instantly grants 5 cards: 4 normal cards and 1 guaranteed shiny card, each randomly rolled from that series' card pool. A sound effect plays and an on-screen message confirms what you received. Cards appear in your inventory with their name, series, card number, and rarity shown in their tooltip.

Series 1 Cards

Series 1 has 30 unique cards ranging from Common to Legendary rarity, including creatures like Amber Dragon, Golden Griffin, and Radiant Stag. Rarer cards are less likely to drop.

Series 2 Cards

Series 2 has 25 unique cards, from common critters like Tunnel Mole and Black Cat up to Legendary and Secret Rare cards like T-Rex, Lava Dragon, and WitherStorm. Series 2 is the set you need to fully collect for the Mythical Master Card reward.

Using the Storage Binder

Right-click with a Storage Binder to open its menu, where you can:

• Store all cards from inventory — deposits every collectible/shiny card you're carrying into the binder and updates your collection log.
• View Series 1 cards — shows how many normal and shiny copies of each Series 1 card you've stored.
• View Series 2 cards — same as above, for Series 2.
• Withdraw a card — pulls a single stored card (normal or shiny) back into your inventory.

The binder menu also displays your total Series 1 cards stored, your Series 2 completion progress (X/25), and whether you've claimed the Mythical Master Card.

Progression And Strategy

• Open packs and use the Storage Binder's "Store all cards" option regularly to keep your inventory clean and your collection log up to date.
• Collection progress toward the Mythical Master Card counts a Series 2 card as "found" whether it's normal or shiny, and whether it's currently in your inventory or already stored in the binder.
• Once all 25 Series 2 cards have been found at least once, the Mythical Master Card is granted automatically and only once — check the binder menu to see if you've already claimed it.
• Shiny cards are guaranteed once per pack opening, so opening more packs is the fastest way to complete rarer entries in each series.
