Shadow Vault Key

Quickstart

1. Join the world to receive a Shadow Vault Key. If your inventory is full, make room and wait for it to be delivered.
2. In Survival, select the key and use it to teleport to the hidden vault.
3. Bring a pickaxe: the diamonds and netherite are blocks you can mine. The vault has no built-in return trip, so plan your way out.

Overview

The Shadow Vault Key is a rare, non-stackable item that takes Survival players to an enclosed vault in the Overworld. Each player receives a key once; crafting is another way to obtain one.

What It Adds

• Shadow Vault Key: A reusable key that teleports its user to the vault. Using it does not consume it.
• Hidden vault: A polished blackstone-brick room containing netherite blocks and piles of diamond and netherite blocks to mine.

How To Use

Use the key while in Survival to travel to the vault. It has no effect in other game modes. The vault is prepared the first time a player uses a key; later uses take you there again.

Crafting And Obtaining

Every player is granted a key after joining. To craft one at a crafting table, combine a water bucket and a diamond pickaxe; the recipe is shapeless:

Abilities And Mechanics

The key’s ability is teleportation to the vault. It stays in your inventory after use, so you can activate it again.

Progression And Strategy

Bring a pickaxe and enough inventory space to collect the mined blocks. Since the vault is enclosed and the key takes you to it rather than back home, decide how you’ll leave before you start mining.
