Shadow Soarer

Quickstart

1. Open your crafting table — the recipe is unlocked automatically when you join the world.
2. Craft the Shadow Soarer block using the recipe below and place it anywhere with enough open space around it.
3. Right-click the placed structure. The multiblock is consumed and you are instantly mounted inside the bomber.
4. Use your mouse to steer (the nose follows your view), W to accelerate, and S to brake.
5. Right-click to drop a bomb. Press R to cycle bomb types. Press Ctrl to exit and park the bomber.

Overview

Shadow Soarer adds a fully rideable B-2 stealth bomber to Minecraft. You build it from a single crafted item, right-click to bring it to life, and pilot it through the skies — dropping normal, incendiary, or nuclear bombs on targets below. The bomber persists in the world when you land and can be boarded again at any time.

How To Use

Placing and Boarding

Place the Shadow Soarer block on the ground in an open area. Right-click it — the structure assembles itself and you are automatically seated in the cockpit. If you exit and the bomber is still parked nearby, right-click it again to re-board.

Flight Controls

Note: Sneak/Shift does not dismount you while flying — use Ctrl to exit safely.

HUD

While riding, a HUD bar appears at the top of the screen showing:

• Current speed percentage
• Selected bomb type (color-coded)
• Current altitude
• Control reminder

Abilities And Mechanics

Dropping Bombs

While mounted, use Right-click to drop the currently selected bomb type:

• Tap right-click → drops a single bomb immediately.
• Hold right-click → begins a continuous bomb run, dropping up to 30 bombs in a row (one every 4 ticks). Release right-click to stop and cancel any remaining queued drops.
• Nuclear bombs are single-drop only — holding right-click has no effect for them.

Press R at any time to cycle through the three bomb types: Normal → Incendiary → Nuclear → Normal…

Bomb Types

Normal Bomb

• Equivalent to a TNT explosion (power 4).
• Leaves a smoke trail as it falls.

Incendiary Bomb

• Smaller blast (power 2) on impact.
• Sets fire across a 5-block radius around the crater.
• Leaves a flame trail as it falls.

Nuclear Bomb

• Massive explosion (power 12) on impact.
• Carves an enormous crater up to 200 × 200 blocks wide and 65 blocks deep.
• Triggers a blinding white flash visible to all players within 256 blocks for ~3 seconds.
• Spawns a towering opaque black mushroom cloud that physically blocks vision — players inside see a near-black screen overlay for up to 30 seconds.
• Single-drop only with a 5-second cooldown. Use with extreme caution.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Shadow Soarer recipe is automatically unlocked the first time you join a world with the mod installed. Craft it at any crafting table:

The recipe combines an Elytra, Iron Ingots, TNT, a Netherite Ingot, and a Fire Charge — reflecting the bomber's powerful and destructive nature.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with Normal bombs to get a feel for aim and trajectory before switching to more powerful types.
• Bomb runs (hold right-click) are most effective for clearing large flat areas or laying down fire lines with incendiary bombs.
• Altitude matters — bombs fall under gravity and inherit some of your horizontal momentum, so release them ahead of your target.
• Nuclear bombs should be used far from your base. The mushroom cloud is a fully opaque visual barrier that can disorient anyone caught inside, including yourself if you fly too low after dropping.
• The bomber persists when parked — you can land, gather resources, and return to your aircraft without rebuilding it.
