Seven Blast Strider

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and find the Seven Blast Strider Spawn Egg in the Spawn Eggs tab.
2. Use the egg in any Overworld biome (lava areas like the Nether are great, but it also spawns naturally on land) to summon a Seven Blast Strider.
3. Watch it wander and hop across lava just like a normal Strider.
4. Kill it with any weapon, fall damage, fire, or environmental hazard.
5. Stand back — when it dies it detonates in a fiery burst!

Overview

The Seven Blast Strider looks and behaves just like a regular Strider, calmly strolling across lava lakes without taking damage. The twist comes at the moment of its death: instead of just dropping loot, it erupts in an explosive farewell blast, marked visually with its distinctive numeral "7" texture.

What It Adds

• Seven Blast Strider — a passive-acting mob that rides lava the same way a normal Strider does.
• Seven Blast Strider Spawn Egg — lets you summon this creature directly from your Creative inventory.
• A unique "7"-patterned appearance that sets it apart from ordinary Striders.
• A death-triggered explosion effect that goes off wherever the creature dies.

How To Use

• Spawning: Use the spawn egg on any block, or let the creature spawn naturally in the Overworld — it appears in small groups, favoring the same environments a normal Strider would enjoy.
• Riding lava: Just like its vanilla cousin, it walks safely on lava and drowns/struggles if placed in water, so keep it near lava if you want it to move around freely.
• Triggering the blast: Any method of killing it — melee, ranged attacks, fire, fall damage, or other hazards — will trigger its explosive death.
• Safety tip: The explosion is a real area-of-effect blast (radius roughly on par with a mob explosion), so don't stand too close when finishing one off unless you want to take damage or send nearby blocks flying.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Lava traversal: Moves across lava seas exactly like a Strider, immune to lava damage.
• Death explosion: When the Seven Blast Strider dies, it produces a single explosion centered on its body. This blast does not set fires, but it can still damage nearby entities and blocks.
• Visual signature: Its skin bears a bold "7" motif, making it instantly recognizable among other mobs even before it detonates.

Progression And Strategy

Since the Seven Blast Strider behaves like a normal Strider until it dies, you can use it as you would any Strider — for decoration, lava transportation experiments, or simply observing it wander. The real interaction comes from choosing when and how to end its life: lure it away from valuable builds before attacking, or use its guaranteed explosion as a improvised demolition tool in lava-adjacent terrain. Because the blast is non-incendiary, it's a slightly safer option than fire-based explosives for clearing small areas without starting wildfires.
