Quickstart

1. Craft the Ant-Man Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots from iron ingots and redstone, then equip all four pieces. The size menu only opens with the complete set on.
2. Crouch to open Scale Shift. Try Grow Big, Shrink Small, or Normal; stand up and crouch again to reopen the menu.
3. Choose Ant to become tiny and summon a group of friendly ants.
4. Craft Shrink Discs or Grow Discs and throw them at an entity to change its size temporarily.

Overview

Ant man is a size-shifting armor set with a crouch-opened menu, throwable size-changing discs, and tameable Ant companions. Changing size also changes your combat effects, so try both sizes and use Normal when you want to return to your usual scale.

What It Adds

• Four wearable Ant-Man armor pieces.
• Grow Big, Shrink Small, Normal, Ant, and Go to the Quantum Realm menu choices.
• Shrink Discs and Grow Discs that temporarily change the size of a hit entity.
• Ant companions, available from the Creative inventory as an Ant Spawn Egg or with /summon com_scale_shift_armor_ixl7uu3q:ant_companion.

How To Use

• Armor menu: Equip the complete set and crouch. Select a menu button to use that option.
• Discs: Hold a disc and use the throw action to launch it. Hitting an entity makes it grow or shrink for about five seconds, then restores its previous size.
• Ants: Use a spider eye on an Ant to tame it. Tamed Ants follow and defend their owner. The menu’s Ant option summons ten Ants already tamed to you.
• Quantum Realm: Select Go to the Quantum Realm in the armor menu to travel to a platform in the End. The trip grants brief Resistance.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the armor and discs at a crafting table. Each armor recipe makes one piece; each disc recipe makes four. The armor recipes use iron ingots (I) and redstone (R).

Craft Shrink Discs from an amethyst shard and redstone, or Grow Discs from a gold ingot and glowstone dust. Both recipes are shapeless.

The Ant Spawn Egg is available in the Creative inventory; Ants and discs have no crafting recipes listed here.

Abilities And Mechanics

The discs work on players and other entities. Their size effect lasts about five seconds before the target returns to its previous size.

Progression And Strategy

Craft the full armor set first: without all four pieces equipped, crouching will not open the menu. Use Grow Big when you want Strength and can tolerate Slowness; use Shrink Small for Speed, keeping in mind that it also gives Weakness. Ant combines the small form with a ready-made group of allies. Use discs when you want to change another entity’s size without opening the armor menu.
