Description:
Runeborn Ascension is a full RPG overhaul for Minecraft Bedrock. It layers a complete progression system on top of survival — from level 1 all the way to level 100 — with class selection, a deep stat-upgrade tree, tiered gear with rarities, custom ores, custom mobs, rune sockets, a coin economy, and multiple prestige layers (Ascends, Prestiges, Rebirths). Every system feeds into the next: you earn BW Coins from combat, spend them at shops, craft and upgrade gear, and eventually unlock elite Mastery Classes that give you permanent powerful bonuses.
Choose one of three base classes when you open your Base Cookie:
| Class | Mastery Class A | Mastery Class B |
|---|---|---|
| Ranger | Sharpsage | Wildstrider |
| Knight | Runeblade | Paladin |
| Defender | Aegis Warden | Stoneheart |
Each class has five upgrade lines fed by class cookie points: Might, Guard, Mobility, Wisdom, and Mastery.
Ascendant gear spans seven rarity tiers:
| Colour | Rarity |
|---|---|
| White | Common |
| Green | Uncommon |
| Blue | Rare |
| Purple | Epic |
| Gold | Legendary |
| Pink/Magenta | Mythic |
| Cyan | Diven |
| Yellow | Infinity |
90 weapons exist across these tiers, along with full armour sets for each tier. Weapons and armour have durability, enchantability, upgrade paths, and rune sockets.
Ten metal ores generate in the world, smelted in a furnace or blast furnace:
| Ore | Rarity |
|---|---|
| Embersteel Ore | Common |
| Mooncopper Ore | Common |
| Stormsilver Ore | Uncommon |
| Voidiron Ore | Rare |
| Sunplatinum Ore | Rare |
| Frostnickel Ore | Epic |
| Bloodcobalt Ore | Epic |
| Astral Tin Ore | Legendary |
| Rune Lead Ore | Mythic |
| Dawn Mythril Ore | Diven |
Ten gem ores also generate (Aquamarine, Onyx, Topaz, Amethystine, Jade, Ruby, Sapphire, Opal, Citrine, Prismatic) and drop cut gems directly when mined.
Four stat runes drop from monsters and can be socketed into gear:
Skill runes (Flame Slash, Frost Wave, Gale Dash, and others) grant active combat abilities with unique sound effects when triggered.

Weapons at or above Rare rarity have rune socket slots. Equip stat runes (Strength, Vitality, Agility, Wisdom) to passively boost your character. Skill runes grant active abilities — each has a unique sound effect that plays when used, and a cooldown before it can trigger again.
Craft and hold the Stat iPhone to view your current character stats in real time. It is invaluable for tracking how your class cookie upgrades and rune loadout are affecting your build.
The Cookie Bag stores your Ascend Cookie, Prestige Cookie, Mastery Cookie, and other progression cookies in one protected slot. If a cookie is inside the bag it cannot be accidentally lost. Open the bag to access any stored cookie.
Right-click the Mastery Cookie to open the Mastery menu. Once your chosen base class has all upgrade lines maxed, a Mastery Classes entry appears. Select one of two Mastery Classes for your base class. Each Mastery Class has three persistent upgrade lines — Power, Guard, and Utility — that grant stacking bonuses to strength, resistance, haste, and mastery damage. Upgrading plays the signature Runeborn progression sounds and is tracked by the Complete Cookie.
Monsters in the world scale in difficulty as you level up. Elites and bosses (Ascendant Knight, Rune Lich) are significantly stronger but drop much better loot, including named weapons, runes, and shop books.
Place the Upgrade Forge in the world and interact with it to upgrade your gear. Higher-tier materials from the new ore tiers unlock higher upgrade levels. Upgraded gear has increased damage or defence, better enchantability, and can accept more powerful rune sockets.
The Cubic Backpack acts as a portable chest. Upgrade it with Storage Upgrade modules (tiers 1–5, requiring progressively rarer materials from iron through netherite) to increase its capacity. The Crafting Upgrade module adds a portable crafting table function; the Smelting Upgrade module adds portable furnace/blast furnace smelting.
BW Coins drop from combat and events. Craft them into compact BW Coin Blocks for storage (9 coins → 1 block, reversible). Use coins to craft the Event Bench or spend them via the Runeborn Shop Tool for items and upgrades not available through normal crafting.
Early game: Focus on collecting Event Tokens from mobs and chests, craft your first Event Cookie, then your Base Cookie. Choose your class carefully — Ranger suits aggressive ranged play, Knight suits melee burst, Defender suits tanky sustained combat. Invest early cookie points into Might or Guard depending on your playstyle, and begin mining Embersteel and Mooncopper to craft your first custom gear.
Mid game: Push into Rare and Epic ores (Voidiron, Frostnickel, Bloodcobalt). Farm Ascendant Knights for early Rune Fang drops and runes to socket. Build your Upgrade Forge and begin upgrading weapons. Accumulate BW Coins for the Event Bench and shop purchases. Aim for your first Ascend by hitting the required level threshold.
Late game: The Rune Lich is your gateway to Epic and Legendary rewards, including the Ascendant Greatsword and Base Raid Shop Books. Pursue Legendary (Astral Tin) and Mythic (Rune Lead) materials to craft and upgrade Rebirth and Cubic tier gear. Stack Prestige resets to multiply your stat scaling.
Endgame: Max every upgrade line on your base class to unlock your Mastery Class. Choose between the two options based on whether you want offensive (Power) or defensive (Guard/Utility) bonuses. The Infinity-tier God weapons and Diven-tier Pixel gear represent the pinnacle of crafted equipment. Complete Cookie tracks every milestone across all your unlocks.
Progression Reset: If you need a fresh start, a progression reset option is available that clears class and mod progression data while preserving non-progression items such as your Cookie Bag and cookie ownership — so you never lose your physical items when resetting.

This mod adds a suite of explosive and utility items: one‑use Nuke and Stab Shot rods (right‑click to cast), a reusable dual‑mode Orbital Remote, a one‑use Teleport Rod, a one‑use Wolf Command Rod, a one‑use Wolf Cleanup Rod, and the Orbital Railgun. The Stab Shot carves a full 12‑block‑wide shaft down to bedrock and is lethal to anything inside (an offhand Totem will be consumed instead of death); the Teleport Rod launches you up to 300 blocks and then breaks; the Wolf Command spawns 100 combat‑buffed tamed wolves and the Cleanup rod removes them. The Orbital Remote is handheld — right‑click to call strikes, sneak + right‑click to cycle modes (you must use it again to actually fire after switching), and hitting a target in Stab mode locks them for the next strike; all special activations share a short 0.5‑second cooldown. The Orbital Railgun is used like a bow (hold and release) to fire its tightly stacked high‑speed volley, but now requires a full stack of 64 arrows to activate (it will not fire without one) and causes a fatal backlash to the user unless you have two Totems in your offhand, in which case both are consumed and you survive.

Spellstorm Grimoire is a mystical book that gives you a huge arsenal of castable spells — lightning, fireball (and huge fireball), water surge, a visible black hole vortex, earth pillar, deflect, light, heavy, time stop, gravity, a floating sword attack, high velocity, heal, shield, teleport (recharging charges), freeze, an instant explosion, Domain Expansion, Zoltraak, and six devastating ultimates including Atomic, Meteor Swarm, Annihilation Halo, Time Erasure, Divine Chains, and World Rend. Controls are simple: Sneak + Use opens the spell picker (sorted by power), Use fires or shoots the selected spell at range (or places/aims terrain-targeted effects when used on a block), and self-only spells (Deflect, High Velocity, Heal, Domain Expansion and ultimates) activate immediately; Teleport recharges automatically and Domain Expansion creates a sealed arena that traps and damages foes. The Atomic ultimate has been made far more cinematic and destructive — selecting Atomic from the picker and using it while standing clear starts a brief camera zoom and purple charge beam, then detonates in a much larger purple blast with expanding shock-rings (now reaching roughly 48 blocks), a stronger bedrock-scouring core, and a taller, longer-lasting purple pillar; it has a 5 Minecraft day cooldown and will display “Atomic is recharging…” if used too soon.
