Rose Quartz Pickaxe

Quickstart

1. Craft the Rose Quartz Pickaxe using quartz and sticks (recipe below), or simply open your inventory — the recipe is automatically unlocked and known to you as soon as you join the world.
2. Equip the pickaxe and head underground.
3. Mine any vanilla ore block with it and watch it break instantly, no matter what tool tier the ore normally requires.

Overview

The Rose Quartz Pickaxe is a single powerful tool item that shreds through ore blocks in an instant. It behaves like a normal diamond pickaxe in every other respect — same harvest level, similar combat stats — but gains a special instant-break effect specifically on ore blocks, making ore mining dramatically faster.

What It Adds

• Rose Quartz Pickaxe — a diamond-tier pickaxe with an instant-mining effect on ores.
• The recipe for the pickaxe is automatically known to every player from the moment they join the world, so you don't need to discover it.

How To Use

• Craft or otherwise obtain the Rose Quartz Pickaxe and hold it in your hand.
• Mine normally — left-click/hold to break blocks as usual. When you strike one of the supported ore blocks, it breaks essentially instantly instead of taking normal time.
• On any other block (stone, deepslate, etc.) it mines at standard diamond pickaxe speed.
• It can still be used as a weapon in a pinch, though it hits slightly slower than a typical pickaxe.

Craft it with 3 quartz and 2 sticks in the pattern shown:

The pickaxe is also findable in the Tools tab of the Creative inventory. Since the recipe is unlocked automatically, it will also appear as a known recipe in your crafting book without needing to gather quartz first — you'll still need the actual materials to craft it.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Diamond-tier harvesting: can mine anything a diamond pickaxe can, including obsidian and ancient debris.
• Instant ore breaking: any of the listed ore blocks (and their deepslate versions) break in a single hit, regardless of enchantments or tools normally required.
• Durability: has a longer-than-diamond durability pool, so it can be used for a large number of ore breaks before wearing out.
• Stack size: like all tools, only one can be held per inventory slot.

Progression And Strategy

Use the Rose Quartz Pickaxe when you want to clear out large veins of ore quickly — strip mining, branch mining, or clearing exposed ore walls becomes nearly instantaneous. It's best kept dedicated to ore mining, since regular stone/deepslate digging doesn't benefit from the instant-break effect and will simply consume durability at normal diamond-pickaxe rates. Keep an eye on its durability meter, since once it breaks you'll need to craft a replacement.
