Quickstart

1. Craft a Launch Pad and Fuel Processor, then place them near your base.
2. Use the Fuel Processor to turn coal or organic material into Refined Rocket Fuel.
3. Get an Orbital Shuttle and place it on the Launch Pad. The shuttle can only be placed there.
4. Bring fuel, board the shuttle, and interact with it to open the destination menu. Destinations you can afford are green; those you cannot afford are red.
5. Choose a destination. The shuttle ascends, then takes you to the selected realm.

Start with the Moon to gather Lunar Ice Ore and try its tools and equipment. The menu shows each trip’s fuel cost.

Overview

Rocketbound Realms is a space-exploration mod centered on rocket travel, planetary resources, equipment, creatures, and vehicles. Its core destinations are the Moon, Mars, Venus, and Mercury. It also contains named materials, gear, and inhabitants associated with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Void.

What It Adds

• Travel equipment: Launch Pad, Fuel Processor, Refined Rocket Fuel, and Orbital Shuttle.
• Planetary materials: Each core world has its own terrain and ore, such as Lunar Ice Ore, Martian Iron Ore, Venus Sulfur Ore, and Mercury Solar Ore.
• Tools, armor, and weapons: Planet-themed equipment includes full tool and armor sets, plus specialized weapons such as the Lunar Glacier Blaster and Martian Rail Lance.
• Vehicles: Planetary Rover, Lunar Rover, and Venus Skimmer, with matching controller items.
• Creatures: Named wildlife and other inhabitants for the core worlds, plus creatures associated with outer realms and the Void.

How To Use

Travel by shuttle

Place the Orbital Shuttle on a Launch Pad, then board and interact with it to open the destination menu. The menu compares your available fuel with each route’s cost. Select an affordable destination and let the shuttle complete its ascent to travel.

The Fuel Processor converts coal or organic material into Refined Rocket Fuel. Make fuel before choosing a destination, and check the menu rather than assuming every trip costs the same amount.

Explore and gather

Mine each world’s distinctive ore and collect its building materials, plants, and wood. Use the planet-specific resources to make that world’s tools, armor, and weapons. Bring suitable equipment when exploring unfamiliar terrain or meeting its inhabitants.

Vehicles and creatures

The mod includes several ground vehicles and their controller items. It also provides spawn eggs for many named creatures, useful for placing them yourself in Creative play.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Launch Pad and Fuel Processor at a crafting table. Use the crafting recipe viewer for their layouts and for the mod’s equipment, weapons, fuel components, and vehicle items. Many planetary recipes use materials found on the matching world, so gather its ore before planning a full gear set.

In Creative, look for the Orbital Shuttle, planetary vehicle items, and creature spawn eggs in the inventory.

Abilities And Mechanics

Each core planet has a distinct resource theme:

Specialized weapons have corresponding magazine or ammo items; bring the matching ammunition when using them.

The wider set of named planetary materials includes Neptune Cobalt, Saturn Ring Metal, Uranus Storm Crystal, Pluto Heart Shard, and Void Alloy. These worlds also have distinctive blocks, plants, and equipment.

Progression And Strategy

• Build the Launch Pad and Fuel Processor before preparing a trip.
• Carry enough Refined Rocket Fuel to make your intended destination selectable.
• Gather local ores early; they are used for that planet’s tools, armor, and specialized equipment.
• Keep weapon ammunition with its matching weapon.
• Treat the outer-world and Void materials as additional exploration and crafting goals alongside the four core destinations.
