Rift Weaver

Quickstart

1. Craft the Rift Weaver using the recipe below and hold it in your main hand.
2. Sneak + Right-click to cycle through the three active abilities — a chat message confirms which mode is selected.
3. Right-click (without sneaking) to fire the currently selected ability.
4. Hit enemies normally to apply Weakness and Slowness on every strike.

Overview

The Rift Weaver is a netherite-tier sword crackling with dark cosmic energy. It trails floating star-like and violet warp particles whenever you hold it, and every swing warps the space around your target. Beyond its melee power, it carries three distinct spatial abilities and a passive dodge that together make it one of the most mobile and disruptive weapons in the game.

Abilities And Mechanics

Passive — Spatial Distortion

Every hit inflicts Weakness I and Slowness I on the target for 3 seconds at no cost and with no cooldown.

Passive — Dimensional Sidestep

While holding the Rift Weaver, you have a 10% chance to automatically dodge and destroy incoming projectiles through a brief teleporting sidestep. No action required.

Active Abilities

Cycle between the three modes with Sneak + Right-click. Activate the selected mode with Right-click. Each ability has its own independent cooldown. If an ability is on cooldown, a chat message tells you how many seconds remain.

How To Use

Switching Modes

Sneak + Right-click cycles: Spatial Swap → Singularity Well → Dimensional Tear → back to Spatial Swap. The current mode is always shown in chat.

Using an Ability

Right-click (no sneak) triggers whichever mode is active. If the ability is still cooling down, you'll see a message like [Spatial Swap] On cooldown! (7s) — just wait and try again.

Tips

• Spatial Swap travels in a straight line with minimal gravity and expires after about 3 seconds in the air. Aim directly at your target.
• Singularity Well has a short wind-up before it starts pulling. Position it to cluster multiple enemies, then follow up with melee strikes or Dimensional Tear.
• Dimensional Tear has a long cooldown — save it for groups or tough enemies. It hits everything in a broad cone in front of you, so positioning matters.
• The Dimensional Sidestep dodge is fully automatic; simply holding the sword gives you the 10% projectile-deflection chance.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Rift Weaver is crafted at a standard crafting table. The recipe is unlocked as soon as you join a world.

It also appears in the Combat tab of the Creative inventory.
