Redstone Riftpiercer

Quickstart

1. At a crafting table, make a Redstone Riftpiercer and some Redstone Riftpiercer Magazines using the recipes below.
2. Keep a Magazine in your inventory or offhand, then equip the Riftpiercer in your main hand.
3. Aim at a target and press the use button. The shot fires immediately; wait for the weapon’s cooldown before firing again.

Overview

The Riftpiercer is a ranged weapon that fires a bright red beam. Each use fires one shot, rather than a continuous burst.

What It Adds

• Redstone Riftpiercer: A ranged weapon with 100 durability.
• Redstone Riftpiercer Magazine: Ammunition for the weapon. Magazines stack up to 64.

How To Use

Use the Riftpiercer while holding it in your main hand. It draws ammunition from your inventory or offhand. Each trigger pull fires one shot, and the weapon has a 6.5-second cooldown.

Aim along a clear line: the beam stops at a block or the first damageable entity it reaches. It does not break blocks or hit entities behind the first target.

Crafting And Obtaining

Both items are crafted at a crafting table. The weapon recipe uses raw copper; the Magazine recipe uses copper ingots.

Abilities And Mechanics

• A shot deals 13 damage and can reach targets up to 48 blocks away.
• The beam is an instant ray, shown with a red visual effect and accompanied by an explosive sound.
• The weapon loses durability with use.
