Reality Unbound

Quickstart

Craft a Rift Sigil with an ender pearl, echo shard, and amethyst shard: . Hold it and right-click to step through open space. Try it somewhere with a clear path; the Sigil can move you up to six blocks and has a 5-second cooldown.

For more relics, craft the Riftcleaver, Inversion Maul, or Stasis Lens below and right-click to use their abilities. To check whether a Reality Break is active, use /reality status.

Overview

Reality Unbound adds four relics for bending space, gravity, and time, plus rare Overworld encounters called Reality Breaks. Relics are usable from your hand and activate with right-click.

What It Adds

Relic or eventWhat it does
Rift SigilSteps you up to six blocks through open space.
RiftcleaverLunges forward and cleaves nearby foes.
Inversion MaulLifts nearby creatures and gives you slow falling.
Stasis LensSlows and weakens nearby living targets.
Reality BreakA timed encounter with riftborn enemies and local gravity distortions.

How To Use

  • Rift Sigil: Right-click to try a spatial step 2–6 blocks forward. It needs clear space and cannot move you through solid blocks. Cooldown: 5 seconds.
  • Riftcleaver: Right-click to lunge about 2.5 blocks if there is room, then strike nearby targets in front of you for 7 damage. Cooldown: 3 seconds.
  • Inversion Maul: Right-click to make nearby living targets levitate for 2.25 seconds and give yourself slow falling for 4 seconds. Cooldown: 9 seconds.
  • Stasis Lens: Right-click to inflict strong slowness and weakness on nearby living targets for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 11 seconds.

The Inversion Maul and Stasis Lens affect nearby living targets other than their wielder, so take care around allies.

Abilities And Mechanics

A Reality Break may occur near a player in the Overworld. When one begins, four riftborn enemies—two husks and two skeletons—appear around its center. The area pulses with gravity distortion: players nearby receive slow falling, while other living entities are lifted. These effects recur while the event is active.

A Reality Break lasts up to two minutes. Defeat all its riftborn before it closes to earn a Rift Sigil. If time runs out, the encounter ends without a reward.

Progression And Strategy

Use /reality status to check the active event and get a short reminder of relic controls. Operators can start a test encounter with /reality break start while in the Overworld; only one Reality Break can be active at a time.

During an encounter, use the Inversion Maul to lift nearby enemies, the Stasis Lens to hinder their movement and attacks, and the Rift Sigil to reposition through open space. The event’s slow falling can help you manage its gravity pulses, but keep a clear route for retreating or closing in.
