Quickstart

1. Craft a Rainbow Flash Pickaxe using the recipe below.
2. Equip it in your mainhand.
3. Punch any minable block — it breaks instantly.
4. Collect the Rainbow Block that appears in your inventory (or on the ground if your inventory is full) every time you break a block with the pickaxe.
5. Optionally craft more Rainbow Blocks directly from glass and amethyst shards for decoration.

Overview

Rainbow Flash Pickaxe adds a single, powerful mining tool and a colorful new building block. The pickaxe destroys any pickaxe-mineable block almost instantly, and every block you break while holding it rewards you with a Rainbow Block — a decorative construction block with its own vibrant look.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Equip the pickaxe in your mainhand slot like any other tool.
• Mine anything a pickaxe can break — stone, ores, and other pickaxe-destructible blocks are destroyed almost the moment you start hitting them.
• Each successful break plays a small chime sound and drops one Rainbow Block into your inventory. If your inventory is full, the block is dropped on the ground at your feet instead.
• The pickaxe can take enchantments like a normal pickaxe and has an extremely large durability pool, so it will last through extensive mining sessions.
• Rainbow Blocks can be placed anywhere and mined again like a standard building block (they break in about 1.5 seconds without the pickaxe's speed, or instantly if you're using the pickaxe).

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the pickaxe and the block at a crafting table:

The pickaxe requires diamonds, an amethyst shard, and sticks. The Rainbow Block recipe uses glass surrounding an amethyst shard, letting you produce extra Rainbow Blocks for building even without mining.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Instant Mining: The pickaxe's destroy speed is set so high that virtually every pickaxe-destructible block breaks in a single hit, regardless of its normal hardness.
• Rainbow Block Rewards: Any block broken while the pickaxe is equipped in your mainhand automatically grants you one Rainbow Block, on top of whatever the mined block normally drops.
• Overflow Handling: If your inventory has no room, the earned Rainbow Block is dropped on the ground next to you instead of being lost.
• Audio Feedback: A short pling sound plays each time you earn a Rainbow Block, confirming the reward without needing to check your inventory.

Progression And Strategy

Since the pickaxe mines almost anything instantly and never seems to run out of durability in practical play, it's ideal for large-scale terraforming, quarry digging, and clearing builds quickly. Because every block broken also generates a Rainbow Block, extended mining sessions double as a way to stockpile decorative building material — making the pickaxe just as useful for construction projects as it is for gathering resources.
