Quickstart

1. Obtain the 13 colored blocks from the Creative inventory, or craft them with a stonecutter from their matching concrete colors.
2. Place one block of each color in a compact circuit:
   • Chiseled Red Concrete
   • Chiseled Orange Concrete
   • Chiseled Yellow Concrete
   • Chiseled Green Concrete
   • Chiseled Blue Concrete
   • Chiseled Purple Concrete
   • Chiseled Pink Concrete
   • Chiseled Magenta Concrete
   • Chiseled Brown Concrete
   • Chiseled Black Concrete
   • Chiseled Grey Concrete
   • Chiseled Light Gray Concrete
   • Chiseled White Concrete
3. Use the Chiseled Blue Concrete to open the Rainbow Concrete menu, then choose Begin Spectrum Sprint.
4. Interact with each of the 13 colored blocks before the 60-second timer expires. The blue block is both the starting beacon and one of the colors to collect.
5. Watch the action bar and Spectrum Progress sidebar for your progress. Completing the circuit gives you 3 emeralds and another Chiseled Blue Concrete.

Overview

Rainbow Concrete adds decorative chiseled concrete blocks in all 13 standard concrete colors. These blocks are full construction blocks with colored chiseled textures.

The blocks also form a timed collection challenge called Spectrum Sprint. Build a circuit of the full color set, activate it at the blue block, and interact with every color as quickly as possible.

The mod also includes six equipment items:

• Wooden Chisel
• Stone Chisel
• Copper Chisel
• Iron Chisel
• Diamond Chisel
• Netherite Chisel

You do not need a chisel to start or complete a Spectrum Sprint. The sprint is activated and completed by interacting with the colored blocks.

How To Use

Building a Spectrum Circuit

Place one copy of every chiseled color near one another. A short path, ring, or room works well. The challenge checks the color of each block you interact with, so duplicate blocks do not replace missing colors.

There is no required collection order. Arrange the blocks in any order that makes the route quick and easy to follow.

Starting the Sprint

Interact with the Chiseled Blue Concrete while no sprint is active. The Rainbow Concrete menu opens with these choices:

• Begin Spectrum Sprint — starts a new 60-second run.
• Reset My Progress — clears your current run and personal sprint progress.
• Close — leaves the menu without starting.

If a sprint is already active, interacting with the blue block counts it as the blue color instead of opening the menu. To restart an active run, interact with the blue block again and choose Restart Sprint.

Collecting Colors

While the sprint is active, use the interact button on each colored block. Every new color increases your progress by one. The action bar shows the current count, remaining time, and your best time when one has been recorded.

Interacting with a color already collected has no additional effect.

Finishing or Failing

The run finishes immediately when all 13 colors have been attuned. Your completion count increases, and the reward items appear at your location.

If 60 seconds pass before all colors are collected, the sprint resets. Return to the blue beacon and begin another attempt.

Crafting And Obtaining

All chiseled concrete blocks are made in a stonecutter from their matching vanilla concrete block. Each recipe produces one chiseled block.

The mod also provides a stick-based Bucket recipe:

All chiseled blocks can also be obtained from the Creative inventory. They drop themselves when mined and are intended to be mined with a pickaxe.

Abilities And Mechanics

Spectrum Sprint

• The challenge requires all 13 chiseled colors.
• Each player tracks their own active run and completion progress.
• The time limit is 60 seconds.
• The progress sidebar displays the number of colors attuned.
• The action bar displays the sprint status and countdown.
• Completing a run records the elapsed time.
• Your best completion time is shown after you have completed at least one sprint.
• The blue block starts the challenge when inactive and counts as the blue color during an active challenge.

Rewards

A successful Spectrum Sprint gives:

• 3 Emeralds
• 1 Chiseled Blue Concrete

The reward blocks appear at the player’s current location.

Progression And Strategy

• Build the circuit before starting the timer.
• Keep all 13 blocks close together so travel time is minimal.
• Use a recognizable route, such as a color wheel, straight line, or numbered path.
• Place the blue starting block where it is easy to reach first and last.
• Make sure every color is present; duplicates do not count toward the 13-color total.
• Interact with blocks rather than mining them during the sprint.
• After a successful run, improve your personal best by shortening the route and practicing the same circuit.
