Quartz Gale Crusher

Quickstart

1. Craft the Quartz Gale Crusher at a crafting table:

1. Equip it in your main hand or off-hand.
2. Right-click to launch a wind projectile in the direction you are looking. The projectile knocks living targets away and upward when it hits them.
3. Press the middle mouse button by default to release a close-range pressure pulse. This pushes nearby living targets away and briefly slows them.
4. You can change the pressure-pulse key in Minecraft’s Controls menu.

Overview

The Quartz Gale Crusher is a netherite-tier sword with two wind-based abilities:

• A long-range gale projectile launched with right-click.
• A short-range pressure pulse activated with the configured ability key.

It is useful for scattering groups, interrupting nearby enemies, and sending hostile mobs over ledges or away from you.

How To Use

Gale Projectile

Hold the crusher in either hand and right-click. A short-lived wind sphere launches from your eye level toward your crosshair.

When it strikes a living target, it:

• Throws the target away from the impact point.
• Launches the target upward.
• Does not directly deal damage.
• Can leave the target vulnerable to fall damage.

The projectile has a 15-second cooldown. It disappears after traveling for a short time if it does not hit anything.

Pressure Pulse

Hold the crusher in your main hand or off-hand and press the middle mouse button by default. The pulse affects living targets within roughly 4 blocks of you, excluding yourself.

Affected targets are:

• Pushed away from you.
• Lifted slightly.
• Slowed for 3 seconds.

The pressure pulse has a 10-second cooldown. Its key can be reassigned under Options → Controls.

Crafting And Obtaining

The crafting recipe uses:

• Quartz
• A feather
• An ender pearl
• Cobblestone

The recipe is provided automatically when you join the world. In Creative mode, search for Quartz Gale Crusher in the Combat item group or the creative inventory search.

Abilities And Mechanics

The crusher is also recognized as a sword, so it can be used as a melee weapon and benefits from sword-related interactions.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the pressure pulse when enemies surround you or get too close.
• Use the projectile to push dangerous mobs away before they can attack.
• Aim at the ground or a target near a cliff to reposition enemies.
• Combine the projectile’s upward knockback with fall damage for stronger environmental attacks.
• Keep track of both cooldowns; the pulse is best for immediate defense, while the projectile gives you distance and control.
• Carry the crusher carefully: it is limited to one per stack and has 512 durability.
