Prismfall Blade

Quickstart

1. Gather Prismarine Crystals and a Stick from your inventory or the world.
2. Craft the Prismfall Blade at a Crafting Table (recipe below).
3. Hold the sword in your main hand — you will immediately receive Slow Falling, letting you descend from any height safely.
4. Keep it equipped while exploring, building at height, or leaping off cliffs.

Overview

The Prismfall Blade is a rainbow-hued, epic-rarity sword forged from prismarine crystals. Beyond being a capable melee weapon, it passively grants the Slow Falling effect to whoever holds it in their main hand — making it equally valuable as a survival tool and a combat weapon.

What It Adds

• Glowing enchantment sheen (visual glint) regardless of enchantments applied.
• Found in the Equipment tab of the creative inventory.

Abilities And Mechanics

Slow Falling while held As long as the Prismfall Blade is in your main hand, you have the Slow Falling effect active. The effect is silently refreshed every two seconds, so it never expires mid-fall. The moment you swap to a different item or put the blade away, Slow Falling is removed immediately.

• No particles are shown for this effect — it works invisibly in the background.
• The effect level is equivalent to the standard Slow Falling potion (no extra amplification).

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Prismfall Blade at any Crafting Table using two Prismarine Crystals stacked vertically with a Stick beneath them.

Tip: The recipe unlocks automatically in your recipe book once you pick up either Prismarine Crystals or a Stick.

Progression And Strategy

• Early exploration safety net — craft the blade as soon as you can reach an ocean monument or elder guardian drop for prismarine crystals. A single blade effectively eliminates fall damage risk for the rest of the game.
• Enchanting — the blade uses the sword enchantment slot with an enchantability of 15, making it receptive to most sword enchantments (Sharpness, Looting, Knockback, etc.).
• Repairing — use Prismarine Shards or Prismarine Crystals at an anvil to restore durability (390 durability per repair item).
• Build projects at height — keep the blade in your main hand while placing blocks at elevation; one accidental slip will no longer cost you your life.
• Combat advantage — with 6 base damage and full sword enchant compatibility, the Prismfall Blade is a strong mid-to-late-game melee weapon on top of its utility.
