Prismatic Dragonwilds
Quickstart
- At a crafting table, make a Dragonwilds Sigil:
- Select the Sigil and use it. Choose Enter Dragonwilds in the menu to travel.
- Explore the colorful terrain and watch for hostile creatures. Kill Crystal Ogres or Temple Seers to collect Wyrmglass.
- Craft a Dragon Ritual Altar, place it in Dragonwilds, then interact with it while holding at least 3 Wyrmglass to summon the Prism Dragon.
- Use the Sigil again and choose Return home when you want to leave.
Overview
Dragonwilds is a separate fantasy dimension with two main landscapes: the forested Rainbow Canopy and the sandy Opal Dunes. Explore to find temples, a dungeon, and a pyramid among its colorful plants and terrain.
The Sigil opens a travel menu. When you return home, you arrive at the world’s default spawn.
What It Adds
| Content | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Landscapes | Rainbow Canopy and Opal Dunes |
| Structures | Ancient Temples, a Dragoncrypt Dungeon, and Sunspire Pyramids |
| Plants and trees | Rainbowwood Logs, Glassbloom Leaves, Starflowers, and Glimmerferns |
| Terrain blocks | Sunmeadow Grass, Aurora Dirt, Starlit Basalt, and Prism Sand |
| Creatures | Crystal Ogres, Temple Seers, and the Prism Dragon |
| Items | Dragonwilds Sigil, Wyrmglass, and Dragon Ritual Altar |
Glimmerferns give off a little light. Starlit Basalt is used to craft the altar.
How To Use
- Travel: Use the Dragonwilds Sigil and choose Enter Dragonwilds. Once inside, use it again to choose Return home.
- Find Wyrmglass: Crystal Ogres and Temple Seers drop it when killed by a player. Ogres also drop gold; Seers also drop emeralds.
- Summon the Prism Dragon: Place a Dragon Ritual Altar in Dragonwilds. Hold at least 3 Wyrmglass and interact with the altar. The ritual won’t summon another Prism Dragon if one is already within 112 blocks.
- Creative play: The Crystal Ogre, Temple Seer, and Prism Dragon each have a spawn egg. They can also be summoned with commands.
Hostile encounters occur as you explore Dragonwilds. The Prism Dragon, however, is summoned through the altar ritual.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft the Sigil at a crafting table:

Craft and place the Dragon Ritual Altar:
Wyrmglass comes from player kills: Crystal Ogres drop 2–4, Temple Seers drop 3–6, and the Prism Dragon drops 8–12. The dragon also drops diamonds, netherite ingots, diamond blocks, and enchanted golden apples.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Prism Dragon: A flying boss with 600 health, strong melee attacks, and immunity to fire. Prepare before starting the ritual.
- Temple Seer: A boss that attacks with evocation fangs and can summon vexes. It has 100 health.
- Crystal Ogre: A hostile creature that attacks at close range.
- Echo Warden: A Warden with a custom name that can appear as an additional dangerous encounter.
Hostile creatures can be suppressed by Peaceful difficulty.
Progression And Strategy
Start with the Sigil, then explore the Dragonwilds for Wyrmglass. Crystal Ogres and Temple Seers provide enough for an altar ritual, though the amount varies. Bring strong gear and supplies before summoning the Prism Dragon, and keep exploring to find the region’s structures and materials.
