Prismarine Guardian Staff

Quickstart

Craft the staff using one lapis lazuli and two prismarine shards, or find it in the Combat tab in Creative mode. Hold it, aim at a mob or player within 32 blocks, and right-click to lock on. Right-click again to fire the purple prism laser.

Overview

The Prismarine Guardian Staff is a single-target weapon. Its two-step attack shows a golden beam when locking on, followed by a purple beam when fired.

What It Adds

• Prismarine Guardian Staff: A staff that locks onto living targets and fires a magic beam.

How To Use

1. Hold the staff and aim directly at a mob or player within 32 blocks, with a clear line of sight.
2. Right-click once to lock on. A golden beam marks the target.
3. Right-click again to fire a purple beam at the locked target.

If the target is gone when you fire, aim at another target and click to lock on again. If a block obstructs the beam when it fires, the beam hits the obstacle instead.

Abilities And Mechanics

A successful shot deals 6 magic damage to the locked target. The beam is a visual effect; damage is applied when the shot reaches an unobstructed target.
