Podzol Overlord Gear

Quickstart

1. Gather some podzol and craft a crafting table if you do not already have one.
2. Craft the Podzol Overlord armor, tools, and weapons at the crafting table. In Creative mode, you can also take them directly from the Creative inventory.
3. Equip the Podzol Overlord Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots together. The complete set grants powerful continuously refreshed buffs.
4. Try the Podzol Overlord Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, and Hoe on their matching blocks for effectively instant mining.
5. Use the Podzol Overlord Sword for close combat. Hold the Podzol Overlord Spear and press the use button to throw it in the direction you are looking.
6. Hold the Podzol Overlord Hammer and:
   • Use it in the air to summon three Podzol Zombies around yourself.
   • Use it on a block to summon three Podzol Zombies around yourself.
   • Hit an enemy to deal massive damage and summon three Podzol Zombies around that enemy.
7. For large-scale terrain conversion, move to the center of the area you want to transform and use Giant Podzol TNT. It converts a 100×100×100 block area around you into podzol.
8. In Creative mode, use the Podzol Zombie Spawn Egg to spawn Podzol Zombies directly.

Overview

Podzol Overlord Gear turns podzol into an entire power-focused equipment set. It provides:

• Armor with extreme protection and a full-set collection of combat and mining buffs.
• Four specialized tools with very high mining speed.
• 999-damage melee weapons.
• A throwable spear for ranged attacks.
• A hammer that calls in powerful Podzol Zombie allies.
• Giant Podzol TNT that converts a huge cube of terrain into podzol.
• Podzol Zombies with 999 health and 999 attack damage.

What It Adds

How To Use

Armor

Equip all four Podzol Overlord armor pieces in the normal armor slots:

• Helmet
• Chestplate
• Leggings
• Boots

The buffs are active when the complete set is equipped. You receive:

• Resistance V
• Regeneration V
• Strength V
• Haste V
• Speed III
• Night Vision

Each armor piece provides 999 protection. The armor is non-stackable, has very high durability, and can be repaired with podzol.

Tools

Use each tool on the block family it is designed for:

• Pickaxe: Stone, deepslate, obsidian, ancient debris, and other pickaxe-minable blocks.
• Axe: Wood and other axe-minable blocks.
• Shovel: Dirt, grass blocks, podzol, and other shovel-minable blocks.
• Hoe: Leaves and other hoe-minable blocks.

Their mining speed is high enough to break matching blocks almost instantly. Each tool also deals 100 damage when used as a weapon.

Sword

Swing the Podzol Overlord Sword at enemies to deal 999 damage. It is useful for eliminating individual targets immediately at close range.

Spear

The Podzol Overlord Spear can be used as a melee weapon or thrown:

1. Hold the spear.
2. Aim at an enemy.
3. Press the use button.
4. The spear attacks along your line of sight, up to roughly 36 blocks away.

A successful hit deals 999 damage. The spear is non-stackable and can also deal its high damage when used in melee combat.

Hammer

The Podzol Overlord Hammer deals 999 damage on a direct hit and has three summoning interactions:

• Use: Summons three Podzol Zombies around you.
• Use on a block: Summons three Podzol Zombies around you.
• Hit an enemy: Deals 999 damage and summons three Podzol Zombies around the enemy.

This lets you either call an army to your position before a fight or place reinforcements directly beside a target.

Giant Podzol TNT

Giant Podzol TNT is a terrain-conversion tool rather than a normal placeable TNT block.

1. Move to the location that should be the center of the conversion.
2. Hold Giant Podzol TNT.
3. Press the use button.
4. The area around you is converted into podzol in layers.

The conversion covers a 100×100×100 block cube, subject to the dimension's world-height limits. It replaces the terrain and structures inside the area, so use it away from anything you want to preserve. The item has a five-second use cooldown and is non-stackable.

All recipes are crafted at a crafting table. The recipe images below show the complete ingredient layout when opened or hovered over.

Armor

Each armor recipe uses podzol.

Tools

The tools use podzol and sticks.

Weapons

The sword, spear, and hammer use podzol and sticks.

Giant Podzol TNT

Giant Podzol TNT uses podzol and TNT.

Abilities And Mechanics

Podzol Zombies

Podzol Zombies summoned by the hammer have:

• 999 maximum health
• 999 attack damage
• A 32-block target-search range
• Melee attacks against hostile mobs
• The ability to damage nearby hostile mobs at close range

They target hostile monsters rather than other Podzol Zombies. They can walk, open doors, climb, and move through water, although they normally avoid water-navigation hazards. They may despawn if left too far away.

Podzol Zombies can also be spawned with the Podzol Zombie Spawn Egg in Creative mode. When defeated, they can drop up to two podzol.

Durability And Repairs

The armor, tools, sword, spear, and hammer have very high durability and can be repaired with podzol. Keep spare podzol available if you plan to use the gear continuously.

Full-Set Buff Management

The armor effects depend on wearing every piece at once. Removing even one armor slot prevents the complete-set effects from being maintained, so keep the full set equipped when mining, exploring dangerous areas, or commanding Podzol Zombies.

Progression And Strategy

1. Start with podzol collection. Craft the tools or armor pieces that are most useful for your immediate goal.
2. Craft the full armor set early. Its protection and continuously refreshed effects make exploration, combat, and excavation much safer.
3. Use specialized tools together. The pickaxe handles stone and hard blocks, while the axe, shovel, and hoe rapidly clear their own block families.
4. Use the sword for single targets. It provides immediate 999-damage melee attacks without needing setup.
5. Use the spear against distant threats. Aim carefully and throw it before dangerous mobs can reach you.
6. Build your force with the hammer. Summon allies near yourself before an encounter, or hit an enemy to surround the target with three Podzol Zombies.
7. Use Giant Podzol TNT deliberately. It is ideal for creating large podzol-covered areas, but its 100×100×100 conversion can erase buildings, terrain features, and other structures inside the cube.
8. Keep podzol for repairs. The gear lasts a long time, but podzol is both the main crafting material and the repair material for the equipment.
