Pigler

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and grab the Pigler Spawn Egg (found in the Spawn Eggs tab).
2. Use the egg on grass or any valid ground to spawn a Pigler.
3. Approach it and feed it a carrot to tame its interest, breed it, or lead it around.
4. Place a saddle on it and hop on to ride it just like a regular pig.
5. Piglers also spawn naturally while exploring the Overworld, so keep an eye out for them roaming the surface.

Overview

The Pigler is a friendly passive mob that looks like a strider but behaves exactly like a pig. It wanders peacefully across Overworld biomes, can be bred, tempted, saddled, and ridden, and adds a quirky visual twist to an otherwise familiar farmyard animal.

What It Adds

• Pigler – a new passive creature with the body shape of a strider but the personality and behavior of a pig.
• Pigler Spawn Egg – lets you spawn Piglers directly from your Creative inventory.
• Natural spawning of Piglers in Overworld biomes, so you can encounter them without needing the egg.

How To Use

• Spawning: Use the Pigler Spawn Egg on any block to summon a Pigler nearby. Piglers also appear naturally while wandering the Overworld.
• Taming interest / Breeding: Hold a carrot and approach a Pigler — it will follow you. Feed carrots to two adult Piglers to make them breed and produce a baby Pigler.
• Riding: Place a saddle on a Pigler, then mount it. Steer it with a carrot on a stick, just as you would a pig.
• General behavior: Piglers wander, graze, and make pig noises. They take fall damage and behave like normal passive livestock, aside from their striking strider-shaped appearance.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for this mod. Obtain Piglers by:

• Spawning them with the Pigler Spawn Egg (Creative mode), or
• Finding them naturally spawning in Overworld biomes.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Piglers share the same health, speed, and behavior as vanilla pigs.
• They can be bred using carrots, tempted to follow you, saddled, and ridden.
• Despite their strider-like model, Piglers do not have any strider abilities — they cannot walk on lava, do not shiver in cold biomes, and cannot equip strider saddles for lava travel.

Progression And Strategy

Piglers are a purely cosmetic and companionship addition — there is no special progression tied to them. Use them as unique-looking mounts or farm animals, breed them for fun visual variety, and keep a few saddled for quick transportation around your builds.
