Penguin Slide Suit

Quickstart

1. Craft the Penguin Slide Suit at a crafting table (recipe below).
2. Equip it by right-clicking while holding it, or drag it into your chestplate armor slot.
3. Find some open ground, start sprinting, then hold Shift — you'll launch into a belly slide that rockets you forward.
4. Aim at mobs or breakable blocks in your path to plow straight through them.

Overview

The Penguin Slide Suit is a single chestplate item that combines moderate armor protection with an aggressive mobility ability: a high-speed belly slide that turns you into a living battering ram. It glows with an enchantment-like shimmer even without any enchantments applied.

What It Adds

• Defense: 6 armor points (equivalent to an iron chestplate).
• Enchantability: 15 — accepts enchantments readily.
• Visual Effect: Always displays an enchantment glint, regardless of enchantments.
• Found in the Combat creative tab.

How To Use

Equipping

Right-click while holding the suit to instantly move it to your chestplate slot (as long as the slot is empty). You can also place it manually in your armor inventory.

Activating the Slide

While wearing the suit:

1. Sprint (double-tap or hold the sprint key).
2. Hold Shift while sprinting.

You will launch into a fast belly slide that lasts up to 4 seconds, propelling you forward at high speed.

Abilities And Mechanics

Belly Slide

• Triggers by sprinting and holding Shift.
• Propels you forward for up to 4 seconds at high speed.
• Can be used to rapidly cross terrain or escape danger.

Mob Crusher

• Any non-player living mob in your slide path is instantly killed.
• Damage is attributed to you (counts as a player kill for loot purposes).

Block Breaker

• Breakable blocks directly ahead of you (at body height) are instantly destroyed as you slide through them, letting you plow through forests, structures, and other obstacles.
• Blocks beneath your feet are not broken — the slide won't dig you into the ground or cause you to fall through the floor.
• Very hard or unbreakable blocks (such as obsidian or bedrock) will stop the slide.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft early using common materials — leather, iron ingots, snow blocks, packed ice, and blue ice are all obtainable before mid-game.
• The slide is excellent for quickly clearing groups of mobs bunched in a corridor or cave entrance.
• Use the slide to break through forests or thin walls rather than mining around them.
• Because unbreakable blocks stop you cold, be mindful of reinforced structures or natural stone — line up your slide path to avoid hard blocks that could abruptly halt your momentum.
• Enchant the suit freely; its high enchantability makes it easy to add Protection, Unbreaking, or Mending.
