Pash

Quickstart

• Grab a Pash Spawn Egg from the Creative inventory (Spawn Eggs tab) and use it on any block to summon a Pash.
• Pash also spawns naturally as a hostile monster in Overworld biomes, so you may encounter one while exploring.
• Look up — Pash floats in the air like a Ghast and will start hurling fireballs when it spots you.
• Fight back with a bow, or deflect its fireballs by hitting them back with a melee weapon or projectile.

Overview

Pash is a floating, hostile mob that looks like a pig-faced version of a Ghast. It drifts through the air, keeps its distance, and attacks players from range by launching explosive fireballs. Aside from its unique appearance, it behaves just like the Ghasts players already know from the Nether — but it can turn up in the Overworld.

What It Adds

• Pash — a large, airborne hostile mob with a pig-themed Ghast appearance.
• Pash Spawn Egg — a Creative-mode item used to summon Pash on demand.

How To Use

• Summoning: Use the Pash Spawn Egg on a block or in the air to spawn one. It appears in the Spawn Eggs item group in Creative mode.
• Encountering: Pash can spawn naturally as a monster in Overworld biomes, so it may ambush you while you're exploring or building.
• Combat: Pash floats above the ground and fires explosive fireballs at players in range. Stay under cover, close the distance to melee it, or use ranged weapons to bring it down. Like other Ghast-type mobs, its fireballs can potentially be knocked back at it if struck.
• Rewards: Defeating a Pash grants experience orbs when it dies.

Crafting And Obtaining

Pash has no crafting recipes. It is obtained only by:

• Using its Spawn Egg in Creative mode, or
• Encountering one that spawns naturally in the world.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Flight: Pash hovers and drifts through the air rather than walking, and takes no damage from fire or lava.
• Ranged Attack: It targets players and shoots fireballs that explode on impact.
• Large Hitbox: Pash has a sizeable body, making it an easy target to spot in the sky but also capable of covering a wide attack area.
• Sounds and Behavior: It shares its cries, movement, and targeting behavior with the classic floating Ghast, just wrapped in a distinctive pig-like look.

Progression And Strategy

• Pash poses the greatest threat at range — closing distance quickly reduces the danger from its fireballs.
• Bows and other ranged weapons let you fight it safely from a distance without needing to dodge fireballs at close quarters.
• Because it can appear in the Overworld, keep an eye on the sky even outside the Nether, especially in open areas where it has room to hover and fire.
