Organcraft Awakening
Quickstart
- Craft a Chest Opener at a crafting table using iron ingots and sticks.
- Hold the Chest Opener and hit a non-player creature. A Chest Cavity menu opens.
- Choose an intact organ to harvest. Each creature can provide one Harvested Heart, Harvested Liver, Harvested Muscle, Harvested Spine, and Harvested Lungs.
- Look down and use the Chest Opener to open Your Open Chest. Select an organ slot, then choose one of the matching harvested organs in your inventory to implant it.
- Try different donor creatures. The organ’s slot determines one power, while its donor species determines another.
Overview
Organcraft Awakening lets you harvest organs from creatures and transplant them into five body slots. Every implanted organ grants:
- A power associated with its body slot.
- An additional ability inherited from the creature it came from.
Implanted organs provide their effects automatically. You can replace an installed organ at any time by selecting the same slot and choosing another harvested organ.

Each harvested organ records its donor creature. Organs do not stack, so keep track of which creatures supplied them.
How To Use
Harvest an Organ
- Equip the Chest Opener.
- Hit a non-player creature.
- In the Chest Cavity menu, select Remove Heart, Remove Liver, Remove Muscle, Remove Spine, or Remove Lungs.
- The harvested organ is placed in your inventory.
A creature cannot provide the same organ twice. Previously removed organs disappear from its Chest Cavity menu. When all five have been removed, the menu reports that the creature has no intact organs left.
Install or Replace an Organ
- Make sure the harvested organ you want is in your inventory.
- Look downward and use the Chest Opener.
- Select one of the five organ slots.
- Choose the donor organ to install.
If the selected slot already contains an organ, the replaced organ is returned to your inventory. You can therefore swap donors whenever you have another harvested organ of the same type.
Use Ender Step
Install an organ harvested from an Enderman. While looking forward, use the Chest Opener to teleport approximately 8 blocks in the direction you are facing.
Ender Step has a 5-second recharge. Looking down while using the Chest Opener opens your organ menu instead.
Crafting And Obtaining
The Chest Opener is crafted at a crafting table from iron ingots and sticks using the recipe shown in the Quickstart section.
All five harvested organ items come from using the Chest Opener on creatures. They are not produced through a separate crafting recipe.

These slot powers are continually renewed while the organ is installed.
Donor Abilities
The donor creature determines the additional ability of every organ harvested from it. For example, a Harvested Lungs from a Guardian and a Harvested Muscle from a Guardian both inherit Gilled Breath, while still retaining their different slot powers.

The donor ability applies regardless of which body slot receives the organ. Effects from multiple installed organs remain active together; when abilities grant the same effect, the stronger effect takes precedence.
Progression And Strategy
- Start with common animals or hostile creatures to fill your first organ slots.
- Use a Heart for steady regeneration, a Muscle for combat strength, and a Spine for faster travel.
- Harvest aquatic creatures for Gilled Breath when exploring oceans, rivers, or underwater structures.
- A Spider or Rabbit donor is useful for movement and jumping.
- A Blaze or Strider donor provides protection in fiery areas.
- Seek an Enderman donor when you want mobility through Ender Step.
- Keep replacement organs in storage so you can change your abilities for combat, exploration, or underwater travel.
- Check the organ menu regularly: it shows the donor and inherited ability installed in each slot.
