Description
The Oreweaver Pickaxe creates ore blocks by spending Creation Orbs. The ore is chosen at random from a pool based on the location where it appears, so it cannot make a specific ore on demand.
Look at a block and use the pickaxe. The ore appears in the air block just beyond the face you’re aiming at, so choose a face with open space. The targeted block must be within 6 blocks.
An orb is consumed only when an ore is successfully created. If nothing happens, check that you have an orb in your inventory and that the target face borders air.
Both items are crafted at a crafting table. Each Creation Orb recipe produces 32 orbs.
Creation Orb

Oreweaver Pickaxe

The available ores depend on the location of the empty block where the ore will appear:
| Location | Possible ores |
|---|---|
| Overworld and other non-Nether dimensions | Coal, iron, copper, gold, redstone, lapis lazuli, or diamond ore |
| Mountain biomes, in addition to the ores above | Emerald ore or deepslate emerald ore |
| Nether | Nether gold ore, nether quartz ore, or ancient debris |
Most generated ores use their regular ore-block form rather than a deepslate form. The pickaxe has 250 durability and mines stone, cobblestone, deepslate, cobbled deepslate, and the listed ores at speed 6.
Carry a supply of Creation Orbs when exploring. Try generating ores in mountain biomes for a chance at emerald ore, or in the Nether for its distinct ore pool. To place an ore where you want it, aim at a block face with an open space directly beyond it.
