Nsmbu Ability Suit To The Main Menu

Quickstart

1. Craft the NSMBU Ability Suit (a chestplate item) using the recipe below, or find it in the Combat creative tab.
2. On the main menu, click the "NSMBU Suit" button (top-right area). This opens the Suit screen where you can toggle the suit ON and read every move's controls before loading a world.
3. With the suit enabled in the menu, load your world — abilities activate automatically. No need to equip the item unless you prefer to.
4. Alternatively, hold the suit in your hand and right-click to equip it to your chest slot manually.
5. Start by sprinting and jumping three times in a row to feel the Triple Jump, then try pressing Sneak mid-air for a Ground Pound.

Overview

The NSMBU Ability Suit adds a full suite of Mario-style movement abilities to your character. A dedicated screen on the main menu lets you enable or disable the suit and review every move before you ever enter a world. Once active — either via the menu toggle or by wearing the chestplate — all abilities work together in one unified movement system with no conflicting inputs.

What It Adds

Armor stats: The suit provides moderate protection (6 armor points on the chest slot, enchantability of 15, 1.0 toughness). It cannot be repaired.

How To Use

Enabling the Suit

There are two ways to activate the suit's abilities:

• Main Menu toggle (recommended): From the main menu, click "NSMBU Suit" → set "Suit Before Game" to ON. The abilities will be active automatically whenever you play, without needing the item in your inventory.
• Manual equip in-game: Hold the NSMBU Ability Suit and right-click to place it in your chest slot. The abilities activate while it is worn.

When the suit is active, all movement abilities below are available simultaneously.

Ladders and vines feel more responsive with the suit active:

• Hold Forward or Sprint while on a ladder or vine to climb faster.
• Hold Sneak while descending to reduce the "sticky" slowdown effect.

SMB2 Pickup System

• Press Use or Attack near a dropped item on the ground to pick it up and carry it in front of you.
• Press Use or Attack again to throw the carried item.

Crafting And Obtaining

The NSMBU Ability Suit is crafted at a crafting table. The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world.

The suit also appears in the Combat creative inventory tab.

Progression And Strategy

• Enable the suit from the main menu before your first session so you never have to carry the item — abilities are always on when you load in.
• Use the main menu Suit Screen to review controls any time before entering a world. Each move is listed with its exact input.
• The Triple Jump is your bread-and-butter traversal tool — sprint across open terrain and chain jumps to cross large gaps without bridges.
• Wall Jump + Wall Slide make vertical shafts and cliff faces trivial to navigate; no scaffolding needed.
• Chain a Ground Pound into a Ground Pound Jump for a surprise height boost after slamming into an enemy or the ground.
• The SMB2 Pickup system lets you grab any dropped item (including mob drops mid-fight) and hurl it — useful for repositioning loot or improvised combat.
• All moves are designed to work together: for example, a Long Jump into a Spin Jump lets you cover long distances at low altitude while maintaining full aerial control.
