Nova Patrol Chronicles

Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, use /nova kit to receive the mod’s armor, wings, weapons, realm keys, boss sigils, spawn eggs, and collectibles. You can also find the items in the Combat tab.
2. Equip the Nova armor:
   • Nova Instinct Helm — head
   • Golden Heart Core — chest
   • Nova Jump Legs — legs
   • Soul Nova Striders — feet
3. Put a weapon in your hotbar and test its normal attack. Right-click Critical Punch to strike a target up to six blocks away.
4. Craft or obtain a Nova City Block and Mini Patrol Key, then build a 4-by-5 Nova City Block frame with a 2-by-3 air opening. Right-click the frame with the key to enter the Mini Patrol Realm.
5. Use a Nova City Key to travel directly to Nova City.
6. Right-click a boss sigil to summon its named boss. Start with the bosses in the Mini Patrol Realm before attempting Nova City.
7. Use pet spawn eggs on the ground to summon companions. Tame them with Nova Bone and heal or breed owned pets with Nova Beef.

Overview

Nova Patrol Chronicles is a CreativeMode RPG adventure built around powerful equipment, aerial movement, custom weapons, tameable patrol pets, two adventure realms, named boss encounters, and multiplayer-friendly progression.

Your main goals are to:

• Build the Nova armor and assemble a high-power weapon set.
• Explore the Mini Patrol Realm and Nova City.
• Defeat the main bosses and optional side bosses.
• Complete the Yatta and Twin friend quests.
• Spare certain bosses to unlock the final encounter and secret ending.
• Collect boss materials, badges, plushes, and patrol memorabilia.

What It Adds

Nova gear

Realms

• Mini Patrol Realm — the first adventure realm, with a patrol hub, exploration areas, and the Corrupted Dragin, Dragina, and Dregene storyline.
• Nova City — a dangerous badlands realm focused on Evil PJ, Possessed Flora, Rotten Gourdy, and Mad Wolfi. A 50-by-60-block city hub is prepared when you first arrive through the Mini Patrol portal.

Pets

The mod includes ten tameable patrol pets:

• Kenji

Decorations and collectibles

Nova Patrol Chronicles includes plush blocks for Nova, Yatta, Twin, bosses, pets, and Mini Patrol animals. Place them as decorations and build patrol headquarters, training rooms, or boss trophy halls.

How To Use

Travel to the realms

Mini Patrol Realm

1. Build a rectangular frame 4 blocks wide and 5 blocks tall using Nova City Blocks.
2. Leave the inside as a 2-by-3 air opening.
3. Hold a Mini Patrol Key and right-click any frame block.
4. The portal activates and sends you to the Mini Patrol Realm. In Survival, the key is consumed when the portal activates.

The Mini Patrol Key also gives instructions when used in hand. The hub is created on the first successful arrival.

Nova City

Right-click the Nova City Key to teleport directly to Nova City. The city is intended to be a high-danger area, so bring strong weapons, food, and defensive gear.

You can also use:

• /nova realm mini
• /nova realm city

Use the armor

Armor effects are applied while the relevant item is equipped.

• Nova Instinct Helm
  • Grants Water Breathing and strong Resistance.
  • Provides a chance to completely avoid an incoming hit.
  • The perfect-dodge effect has a short cooldown.
• Golden Heart Core
  • Increases maximum health.
  • Grants Absorption.
  • Gradually restores health while worn.
• Nova Jump Legs
  • Grants powerful Jump Boost.
  • Grants Slow Falling.
  • Prevents fall distance from building up.
• Soul Nova Striders
  • Grants high Speed.
  • Grants Fire Resistance.
  • Completely prevents fall damage.

The helm and armor effects are continuously refreshed while equipped. A Nova Ring Core carried in your inventory strengthens several Nova equipment effects. Nova Teeth carried in your inventory further improves the Striders’ movement bonus.

Fly with the wings

• Mini Wings equip in the head slot.
• Big Wings equip in the chest slot.
• Nova Energy Blade Wings function as a weapon and also contribute to the stronger wing flight effect.

Right-click a wing item to activate Flight X for 10 seconds. Equipped wings provide the mod’s Flight Effect and allow normal flying controls outside Creative mode.

Big-wing equipment also retaliates against living attackers, reflecting part of incoming damage. If you want to wear the full Nova armor while flying, keep Big Wings or Nova Energy Blade Wings in your inventory.

Use /nova feather to toggle the Nova armor’s Slow Falling behavior. Soul Nova Striders continue to prevent fall damage.

Use the combat items

• Critical Punch — right-click while aiming at a living target within six blocks. It deals three hearts of damage, launches the target, and has a short cooldown. It can also break a broad path through blocks in front of the impact.
• Nova Mace — deals two hearts at ground level and gains additional damage from the distance you have fallen before striking.
• Nova Spear — becomes more powerful as you move horizontally, rewarding running attacks and aerial movement.
• Nova Energy Sword, Nova Teeth, Nova Daggers, Nova Energy Blade Wings, Nova Arsenal, Fourth Wall Breaker, and Rival's Sword — use their normal melee attacks. The Nova Energy Sword and Fourth Wall Breaker are especially suited to high-health targets.

Summon and care for pets

Use a pet spawn egg on the ground to summon its matching patrol pet.

• Use Nova Bone on an untamed patrol pet to tame it.
• Use Nova Bone on an owned adult pet to heal it and prepare it for breeding.
• Use Nova Beef to heal an owned pet and prepare it for breeding.
• Tamed pets persist as patrol companions and can follow you through your adventures.

You can also summon a tamed pet with commands such as:

• /nova pet kenji
• /nova pet flaffy
• /nova pet bebe
• /nova pet supergirl
• /nova pet voltzi
• /nova pet cosmi
• /nova pet blazi
• /nova pet twirli
• /nova pet gemmi
• /nova pet voidli

Summon bosses

Hold the matching sigil and right-click to summon a named boss. Boss sigils are single-use boss encounter items.

The Corrupted Misi Misi Sigil remains locked until the final-boss requirements are complete.

Place plushes and Nova City Blocks

Plush items are placeable decorative blocks. Use them to decorate patrol bases, quest areas, arenas, or display rooms.

Nova City Block is both a building block and the frame material for the Mini Patrol portal.

Crafting And Obtaining

All mod items are available through Creative mode and /nova kit. The following recipes are available at a crafting table.

Materials, food, and building

Armor and movement gear

Mini Wings have no listed crafting recipe; obtain them from Creative mode or /nova kit.

Weapons and abilities

Nova Arsenal, Fourth Wall Breaker, and Rival's Sword are available through Creative mode or /nova kit.

Realm keys and bonus recipes

Boss rewards

Defeating named Wither bosses provides Nova Ingots. Corrupted Dragin also drops:

• Dragin Tooth
• Dragin Scale
• Dragin Wing
• Dragin Fur

Evil PJ drops Evil PJ's Glasses, while Corrupted Misi Misi drops the Mini Patrol Gem.

Abilities And Mechanics

Flight

Wing items grant the beneficial Flight Effect. Mini Wings provide the lighter flight profile, while Big Wings and Nova Energy Blade Wings provide faster flight.

Right-clicking a wing starts a 10-second Flight X burst. While a wing is equipped or recognized in your inventory, use the standard Minecraft jump and fly controls.

Defensive equipment

The strongest defensive setup is:

• Nova Instinct Helm
• Golden Heart Core
• Nova Jump Legs
• Soul Nova Striders

This combination provides high resistance, extra health, Absorption, rapid movement, jumping, fire protection, fall protection, and a chance to dodge attacks completely.

Multiplayer progression

Boss and quest progress is shared with nearby participating players. Stay close to the player leading a boss battle so the defeat and quest milestone are recorded for everyone involved.

Use /nova status to view:

• Main bosses defeated
• Bosses spared
• Side bosses defeated
• Yatta quest progress
• Twin quest progress
• Final-boss unlock status
• Secret-ending status

Progression And Strategy

Recommended adventure path

1. Obtain Nova Ingots and craft the armor, Nova Ring Core, and at least one strong weapon.
2. Enter the Mini Patrol Realm through the Nova City Block portal.
3. Challenge Corrupted Dragin, Dragina, and Dregene.
4. Travel to Nova City and face Evil PJ, Possessed Flora, Rotten Gourdy, and Mad Wolfi.
5. Call the patrol friends and begin their quests:
   • /nova friend yatta
   • /nova quest yatta
   • /nova friend twin
   • /nova quest twin
6. Challenge every side boss.
7. Collect the required high-power weapons and wear the complete Nova armor.
8. Check the final requirements with /nova finalboss.
9. When the final boss is unlocked, use the Corrupted Misi Misi Sigil.

Yatta’s quest milestones are:

• /nova progress yatta_intro
• /nova progress yatta_build

• /nova progress yatta_complete

Twin’s quest milestones are:

• /nova progress twin_intro
• /nova progress twin_build
• /nova progress twin_fortress
• /nova progress twin_complete

Yatta’s storyline focuses on a colorful patrol outpost. Twin’s storyline focuses on gathering materials and building a fortress.

Side bosses

The side-boss roster is:

Summon one with /nova sideboss <name>. For names with multiple words, use an underscore, such as /nova sideboss forgotten_tiny or /nova sideboss misi_misi.

Mercy and the final boss

The final boss requires all of the following:

• Defeat Corrupted Dragin, Dragina, Dregene, and Evil PJ.
• Spare Possessed Flora, Rotten Gourdy, and Mad Wolfi.
• Complete both the Yatta and Twin friend quests.
• Defeat every side boss.
• Carry the Nova Energy Sword, Nova Ring Core, and Fourth Wall Breaker.
• Wear the complete Nova armor.

Use /nova finalboss to see which requirements are still missing.

During the intended Phase 2 mercy route, use:

• /nova spare possessed_flora
• /nova spare rotten_gourdy
• /nova spare mad_wolfi

After the final encounter reaches its mercy phase, spare Corrupted Misi Misi with:

• /nova spare corrupted_misi_misi

Then use /nova ending to view the secret ending and receive the Mini Patrol Gem.
