The Night Sky Sword is a single, powerful weapon item that slots into the netherite tier of combat. It permanently shimmers with an enchantment glint, giving it a mystical, starlit appearance even without any enchantments applied. There are no special right-click abilities or multi-step mechanics — its strength lies entirely in its exceptional raw damage output.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Netherite-tier stats — The sword uses the netherite tool material, giving it high durability and the full damage bonus associated with that tier.
• High base damage — It carries a large extra damage modifier on top of the netherite base, making it hit significantly harder than a standard netherite sword.
• Attack speed — Slightly faster than a standard sword, allowing quicker successive hits.
• Permanent enchantment glint — The item always displays the shimmering enchantment effect regardless of whether any enchantments are actually applied. This is purely visual.
• Stack size of 1 — Like all swords, only one can be held per inventory slot.

Progression And Strategy

• The Night Sky Sword is best treated as an endgame weapon. Its ingredients require Nether access (Blaze Rods) and Enderman hunting (Ender Pearls), placing it naturally after mid-game progression.
• Because it deals exceptional damage per hit, it excels against high-health targets such as the Wither, Elder Guardian, or Ender Dragon.
