Quickstart

1. Grab a Diamond Axe, a Netherite Ingot, and a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template.
2. Use a Smithing Table to combine them into the Netherite Ravager Axe.
3. Also check your recipe book — this recipe is automatically unlocked for you as soon as you join the world.
4. Equip the axe and start mining or fighting. It chews through any block almost instantly and hits devastatingly hard.

Overview

The Netherite Ravager Axe is a single, mighty tool-weapon hybrid. It looks and feels like a netherite axe, but it mines every block in the game — from dirt to ancient debris — at extreme speed, and it hits far harder than any vanilla weapon. It never wears down in a way that matters, since it comes with an enormous durability pool, and it always glows with an enchanted shimmer.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the axe at a Smithing Table using the standard netherite upgrade layout:

You need:

• A Diamond Axe (the base tool)
• A Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template
• A Netherite Ingot

The result is one Netherite Ravager Axe. Because it only stacks to one and has a massive durability pool, you generally only need to craft it once.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Mines anything instantly: The axe can break every block type at very high speed, acting as if it were the best possible tool for every job — no need to switch tools for stone, ores, or even ancient debris.
• Massive melee damage: It deals extreme attack damage per hit, far beyond a normal axe, making it a formidable weapon in combat as well as a mining tool.
• Slow swing speed: Its attack speed is very slow, so time your swings — you get fewer hits, but each one counts enormously.
• Enchanted glow: The axe always displays a shimmering enchantment glint, even without actual enchantments.
• High durability: It carries a very large durability pool, so it can be used extensively for both combat and mining without breaking.

Progression And Strategy

Since obtaining it only requires vanilla materials (a diamond axe, a netherite ingot, and a netherite upgrade smithing template), the main challenge is gathering enough netherite gear components — the same resources used for netherite armor and tools. Once crafted, the axe effectively replaces every other tool and most weapons in your inventory: use it to strip-mine, clear builds, harvest wood, and fight mobs or bosses with equal ease.
