Netherite Omnitool
Quickstart
Craft the Omnitool at a crafting table:
Hold it in either hand and press Left Shift (the default, rebindable in Controls) to open its menu. Try Tool and right-click a block to receive an enchanted Netherite tool suited to that block. Choose Gun and right-click to fire, Orbital Laser to shoot toward your aim, or Toggle Fly to enable or disable flight.
Overview
The Netherite Omnitool is a single item with several abilities. Its menu switches between Tool and Gun modes, fires the Orbital Laser, or toggles flight. Tool mode is selected by default.
How To Use
| Menu choice | What it does |

| Tool | Selects Terrain Tool mode. Right-click a block with the Omnitool to form an appropriate enchanted Netherite tool. |
| Gun | Selects Gun mode. Right-click to fire a beam at what you are aiming at. It has an 8-tick cooldown. |
| Orbital Laser | Fires a beam immediately toward your aim, up to 64 blocks away. |
| Toggle Fly | Enables or disables flight. When enabled, use Minecraft’s usual flight controls. |
Selecting a menu action closes the menu. The Gun and Orbital Laser beams can hit living entities; the Orbital Laser deals massive damage and sets hit targets on fire for 8 seconds. Beams stop at blocks and do not reshape terrain.
Crafting And Obtaining
The recipe above makes one Omnitool. When you right-click a block with it, the Omnitool grants the corresponding Netherite tool to your inventory, or drops it if your inventory is full:
- Hoe-mineable blocks and plants produce a Netherite Hoe.
- Axe-mineable blocks produce a Netherite Axe.
- Pickaxe-mineable blocks produce a Netherite Pickaxe.
- Other blocks produce a Netherite Shovel.
Right-click a living entity with the Omnitool to form a Netherite Sword. This interaction works separately from the selected Gun or Tool mode.
Abilities And Mechanics
Tools formed from blocks and the Netherite Sword have enchantments at level 255. The Hoe, Axe, Pickaxe, and Shovel receive Efficiency, Fortune, Silk Touch, Unbreaking, and Mending. The Sword receives Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Knockback, Fire Aspect, Looting, Sweeping Edge, Unbreaking, and Mending.
The Omnitool creates the gear; use each formed tool as you normally would. Its beams are for hitting entities, not mining or changing blocks.
Progression And Strategy
Try the Omnitool on different blocks to obtain different tools, then keep it handy to make another when needed. Use the pie menu to swap between firing modes, and toggle flight when you want to travel or explore from the air.

This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
