Quickstart
- In Creative mode, find the Neanderthal spawn egg in the Spawn Eggs tab.
- Use the egg on the ground to spawn a Neanderthal.
- Watch it wander and look around. It is peaceful and does not start fights.
With cheats enabled, you can also spawn one with /summon neanderthal-ltspp6x3:neanderthal_ltspp6x3.
Overview
The Neanderthal is a bearded, human-sized mob from humanity’s distant past. It wanders on land and is peaceful toward players.
What It Adds
- The Neanderthal mob, with idle and walking animations.
- A Neanderthal spawn egg.
How To Use
The spawn egg is the straightforward way to place a Neanderthal: hold it and use it on a suitable block. You can also use the summon command above.
Right-clicking the Neanderthal has no special effect. It has no mod-specific actions for players to trigger.
Crafting And Obtaining
The spawn egg has no crafting recipe. It is available in Creative mode; with cheats enabled, you can give yourself one using:
/give @s neanderthal-ltspp6x3:neanderthal_ltspp6x3_spawn_egg
Abilities And Mechanics
Neanderthals stroll about, glance at nearby players, and occasionally look around. They can float in water. They do not seek targets or initiate combat.
How to install
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.

2. Click to play on the top of the screen.
3. That's it — launches instantly. No complicated setup required.
