Quickstart
- In Creative, search for a Female Enderman, Female Zombie, Female Zombie Villager, Female Skeleton, Female Villager, or Female Creeper Spawn Egg. Use an egg on a suitable block to spawn its mob.
- In Survival, look for female villagers around villages and the hostile variants in the kinds of places their counterparts spawn.
- Try trading with a Female Villager. Keep your distance from Female Creepers, and don’t stare at Female Endermen unless you’re ready for a fight.
Overview
Mob Maidens provides female-looking variants of six familiar mobs. They keep their counterparts’ usual roles and behaviors; their appearance is the main distinction.
What It Adds

| Female Zombie | A hostile melee attacker that burns in daylight. |
| Female Zombie Villager | A hostile zombie villager; it can be cured. |
| Female Skeleton | Attacks with a bow and arrows. |
| Female Villager | Lives among villagers and offers trades. |
| Female Creeper | Approaches and explodes; flint and steel can ignite it. |
How To Use
Use the variants as you would their familiar counterparts:
- Trade: Interact with a Female Villager to open her trade offers.
- Ignite a creeper: Hold flint and steel and interact with a Female Creeper. Move away quickly.
- Avoid an Enderman fight: Don’t look directly at a Female Enderman; wearing a carved pumpkin helps avoid provoking it.
- Cure a Female Zombie Villager: Give it the Weakness effect, then use a golden apple on it. Keep it safe while it recovers.
Abilities And Mechanics
Female mobs use the same basic behaviors as their counterparts: zombies attack in melee, skeletons shoot arrows, creepers explode, villagers trade, and endermen teleport. Their textures give them feminine, mob-themed looks.
A Female Villager struck by a fatal attack from a zombie—including a Female Zombie—can become a Female Zombie Villager. The chance depends on difficulty: conversion does not occur on Easy, has a 50% chance on Normal, and is guaranteed on Hard. Female Zombie Villagers can also appear among Female Zombie spawns.
Progression And Strategy
There is no separate progression system. Find the variants in the world or spawn them with eggs to observe their familiar behaviors. Treat the hostile ones with the same caution as their counterparts, and protect villagers if you want them to avoid zombification.
