Quickstart

1. Craft a Mini Mushroom using the recipe below and add it to your hotbar.
2. Hold it in your hand and right-click to consume it.
3. You instantly shrink to 25% of your normal size for 30 seconds, accompanied by a chiming bell sound.
4. After 30 seconds, you automatically return to normal size — no action needed.

Overview

The Mini Mushroom is a consumable magical item that dramatically shrinks you down to a quarter of your normal size. Inspired by the miniature power-up from New Super Mario Bros. DS, it offers a fun and visually striking way to experience the world from a tiny perspective.

What It Adds

• Mini Mushroom — A single consumable item found in the Food & Drinks creative tab. It has a distinctive enchantment glint and stacks up to 16.

How To Use

• Right-click while holding a Mini Mushroom to consume it and trigger the shrinking effect.
• You will shrink to 25% of your normal size immediately.
• A chiming bell sound plays each time the effect is applied.
• The effect lasts 30 seconds, then wears off automatically.
• You can right-click another Mini Mushroom before the timer runs out to reset the 30-second duration — useful for staying small longer.
• In Survival mode, each use consumes one mushroom from your stack. In Creative mode, the item is not consumed.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world.

Combine a brown mushroom, a fermented spider eye, and sugar in the pattern shown. Each craft yields one Mini Mushroom.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft a stack of Mini Mushrooms if you want to stay small for an extended period — simply consume another before the timer expires to keep the effect going indefinitely.
• The mushroom is inexpensive to craft, requiring only common early-game materials: brown mushrooms, sugar cane (crafted into sugar), and a fermented spider eye.
• Because the item stacks to 16, a single inventory slot can store enough mushrooms for over eight minutes of continuous shrinkage.
