Quickstart

1. Craft the Storm Cruiser using the recipe below and place it anywhere in the world — the full multiblock structure assembles automatically around it.
2. Right-click the structure to board the vehicle.
3. Fly using W/A/S/D (move), Space (ascend), and Shift (descend).
4. Press Ctrl to dismount and leave the Storm Cruiser parked.

Overview

The Storm Cruiser is a rideable hover-speeder that floats freely through the air. Place the crafted item, right-click to mount, and pilot it in any direction with responsive controls. When you dismount, the vehicle stays exactly where it is, ready to be boarded again at any time.

How To Use

Boarding and Dismounting

• Right-click the assembled structure to mount.
• Press Ctrl to dismount. The Storm Cruiser remains parked in the world.

Flight Controls

Note: Shift is used for descending while riding — it will not cause you to dismount.

HUD

While piloting, a heads-up display appears at the top of the screen showing:

• SPD — current speed
• HDG — heading in degrees
• ALT — current altitude (Y level)

Camera

Mounting the Storm Cruiser automatically switches you to third-person view so you can see the vehicle. Your previous camera setting is restored when you dismount.

Abilities And Mechanics

Hover Physics

The Storm Cruiser has no gravity of its own. When you stop giving input, it gradually drifts downward at a slow, gentle rate, reinforcing the sensation of hovering rather than flying. Resume ascending with Space to counteract this drift.

Particle Effects

The Storm Cruiser generates visual effects that respond to how you fly:

Taking Damage

If the Storm Cruiser is attacked, it breaks apart, ejects any passengers, and drops itself as an item for you to pick up and place again.

Progression And Strategy

• The Storm Cruiser is best used for fast overworld or aerial exploration — its forward speed is noticeably faster than strafing or reversing, so plan flight paths accordingly.
• Because it drifts downward when idle, maintain gentle upward pressure with Space when hovering in place at height.
• If your Storm Cruiser is destroyed, simply pick up the dropped item and place it again to reassemble it instantly.
• Keep a safe altitude to avoid obstacles when flying at top speed, as the soul fire trail indicates you are moving fast enough that collisions with terrain can happen quickly.
