Quickstart

1. Open the Creative inventory and select the Midnight Blockworks item group.
2. Choose any of the 19 black decorative blocks or the Ancient Storage Pot.
3. Place the blocks normally to begin building. Use a pickaxe to mine them.
4. To craft the Ancient Storage Pot in Survival, use six Blackstone Bricks:

1. Place the pot against a surface. It faces away from you when placed, so approach from the direction you want it to face.

Overview

Midnight Blockworks is a decorative building set focused on dark blackstone-style architecture. It provides 19 black building blocks with varied patterns and finishes, plus an Ancient Storage Pot for ornamental interiors, workshops, ruins, and other builds.

Decorative Blocks

Ancient Storage Pot

The Ancient Storage Pot is a small, dark ornamental pot block. Its shape is narrower than a full block and includes a base, body, and raised top.

How To Use

Placing Blocks

Select a Midnight Blockworks block and place it like any ordinary building block. The decorative blocks are intended for walls, floors, ceilings, pillars, borders, and other architectural details.

The Ancient Storage Pot can also be selected from the Creative tab or crafted with Blackstone Bricks. When placing it, its horizontal facing is determined by your position and the direction you are facing.

Mining Blocks

The Midnight Blockworks blocks and the Ancient Storage Pot require a tool and are mineable with a pickaxe. When broken normally, each block drops its corresponding item, allowing it to be repositioned or reused.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Creative inventory is the fastest way to obtain every Midnight Blockworks item.

The Ancient Storage Pot can additionally be crafted in Survival using six Blackstone Bricks arranged around an empty center:

No other crafting recipe is documented for the decorative blocks; obtain those blocks from the Midnight Blockworks Creative inventory tab.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The 19 decorative blocks use stone-style sounds and are suited to permanent construction.
• All decorative blocks require a pickaxe to mine.
• The Ancient Storage Pot also requires a pickaxe.
• The pot has a directional facing and is oriented horizontally when placed.
• The pot’s compact shape makes it useful as a tabletop, shelf, alcove, or floor decoration.

Progression And Strategy

Midnight Blockworks has no required progression system. Start by choosing a base block such as Black Block, Blackstone Bricks, or Smooth Blackstone, then add contrasting textures:

• Use Blackstone Tiles and Blackstone Mosaic for floors.
• Frame entrances with Blackstone Border or Blackstone Panel.
• Add Blackstone Pillars and Blackstone Embossed details to large walls.
• Combine Runed Blackstone, Chiseled Blackstone, and Ornate Blackstone for ancient or arcane builds.
• Mix Cracked Blackstone with polished variants to give ruins and abandoned structures a varied age.
• Use Blackstone Lattice, Blackstone Vent, and Blackstone Glass for industrial or enclosed designs.
• Place Ancient Storage Pots in corners, on ledges, or near crafting areas as interior decoration.
