Mega Mushroom Powerup

Quickstart

1. Craft the Mega Mushroom Powerup (see recipe below) or find it in your inventory's Combat tab.
2. Hold it in your hand and right-click to consume it instantly.
3. You will grow to 3× your normal size and gain powerful combat buffs for 15 seconds.
4. Charge into enemies — when the timer runs out, you shrink back to normal automatically.

Overview

The Mega Mushroom Powerup is a single-use consumable that transforms you into a towering juggernaut. For 15 seconds you become nearly unkillable, hit like a freight train, and physically overpower enemies with your giant body. When the effect ends, everything returns to normal on its own — no action needed.

What It Adds

The item has an enchantment glint and displays a tooltip reminding you of its effects and 15-second duration.

How To Use

• Right-click while holding the Mega Mushroom Powerup to activate it.
• One item is consumed per use (in Survival mode).
• A bell sound plays at the moment of activation.
• The effect lasts 15 seconds (300 ticks) and expires automatically — there is no way to cancel it early.
• You can stack up to 16 Mega Mushroom Powerups in one inventory slot.

Abilities And Mechanics

While the Mega Mushroom effect is active you receive the following:

Collision and knockback — Your giant body can physically bump and overpower enemies, knocking them back on contact.

Terrain is safe — Passive movement through the world does not break or damage blocks around you.

Mining and interaction are unchanged — Your reach, tool behavior, block breaking, and block interaction all work exactly as they do at normal size. The enlarged eye height does not shift your targeting, so you mine and use blocks just as you normally would.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world.

Surround an Enchanted Golden Apple with Brown Mushrooms in a cross pattern to craft one Mega Mushroom Powerup. Because the Enchanted Golden Apple is rare, each Mega Mushroom is a precious resource — save it for tough fights.

Progression And Strategy

• Boss fights and raids are the ideal time to pop a Mega Mushroom. The combination of near-invulnerability and heavy melee damage lets you tear through dangerous enemies before the 15 seconds are up.
• Because crafting costs an Enchanted Golden Apple, you will likely have only a handful of these at any time. Use them deliberately rather than burning them on trivial encounters.
• The Slowness I penalty is minor but real — avoid situations where you need to sprint away, since Mega form is about standing your ground and overpowering enemies rather than hit-and-run tactics.
• Stack up to 16 in a single slot so you can bring a supply to a dungeon or long expedition without wasting inventory space.
