Magmur

Quickstart

Magmur spawns naturally in the Overworld, so you may encounter her on your travels. To summon her on demand, find the Magmur Spawn Egg in the creative menu under the Spawn Eggs tab and right-click any surface to place her. Once spawned, watch her hover and automatically pursue any nearby Illagers.

Overview

Magmur is a mystical flying entity — a lone wanderer with gray skin, long hair, and purplish-blue magical energy glowing from her hands. She drifts silently through the Overworld about three blocks above the ground, making no footstep sounds as she patrols. Her sole agenda: hunt down every Illager she can find and blast them with fireball magic.

Abilities And Mechanics

Flight and Hovering Magmur is unaffected by gravity, permanently floating roughly three blocks above the ground surface beneath her. She makes no step sounds and glides silently wherever she moves.

Ranged Fireball Attack When Magmur spots an Illager within 32 blocks, she closes to a comfortable standoff distance and fires small fireballs from her hands. She attacks on a cooldown and will strafe to maintain her preferred engagement range, backing away if a target gets too close.

Illager Vendetta Magmur automatically targets all Illager variants — Pillagers, Vindicators, Evokers, Illusioners, and any other Illager-type mob. She will actively seek them out and will not stop until the threat is dealt with or she is killed. She will also retaliate if attacked by any entity.

Progression And Strategy

• Use Magmur as an ally during Pillager Outpost raids or when navigating Woodland Mansions. Her long detection range and persistent targeting make her a powerful deterrent against Illager patrols.
• Avoid crossfire — Magmur's fireballs can ignite terrain and hit unintended targets. Give her space when she engages.
• She can despawn like other natural mobs, so don't rely on a specific Magmur persisting long-term unless you name her with a Name Tag.
• Be careful not to hit her — she will retaliate against any attacker, including the player, thanks to her revenge behavior.
