How To Use

Lucille

Equip Lucille in your main hand and use the normal attack control to strike creatures. It has:

  • Additional attack damage
  • Strong attack knockback
  • A slower attack speed than a typical weapon
  • A maximum durability of 256
  • A maximum stack size of 1

Lucille loses durability when it successfully hits a living target. When it breaks, it must be replaced or crafted again.

Barbed Wire

Place Barbed Wire like any other block. Non-player living creatures that step on it take damage and are inflicted with Slowness. Use it to:

  • Slow mobs near entrances and chokepoints
  • Protect paths and bases
  • Create hostile-mob traps
  • Herd dangerous creatures into a controlled area

Players are not damaged by Barbed Wire. The trap affects other living creatures, including mobs and animals.

Barbed Wire is mineable with a pickaxe and requires an iron-tier tool or better to harvest efficiently. It drops itself when successfully harvested and can also be placed again elsewhere.

Crafting And Obtaining

Barbed Wire is crafted from iron bars, iron swords, and lightning rods:

Lucille is crafted from Barbed Wire and a stick:

Lucille and the trophy heads appear in the Combat Creative inventory tab. Barbed Wire appears in Building Blocks.

The trophy heads have no listed crafting recipe. They are collected through Lucille’s trophy mechanic.

Abilities And Mechanics

Trophy Collection

When a player kills one of the supported creatures with Lucille, the corresponding trophy is automatically placed in the player’s inventory:

  • Pig → Bloody Pig Head
  • Zombie → Bloody Zombie Head
  • Enderman → Bloody Enderman Head
  • Ender Dragon → Bloody Ender Dragon Head
  • Baby turtle → Bloody Baby Turtle Head

The target must be killed by the Lucille attack. Adult turtles do not award a trophy. If the inventory is full, the trophy drops on the ground instead.

A successful trophy kill displays a confirmation message showing the collected head.

Trap Effect

Barbed Wire deals periodic cactus-type damage to non-player living creatures standing on it and applies a strong Slowness effect. Its slowing effect makes it useful for keeping enemies in place while you attack them from a safer position.

Progression And Strategy

  • Craft several sections of Barbed Wire before building a mob defense or arena.
  • Place it across narrow passages, doorways, bridges, and the edges of pits.
  • Keep Lucille in your main hand when finishing supported creatures so their trophies are collected.
  • Use knockback to push enemies back onto Barbed Wire after striking them.
  • Leave enough space around traps to fight safely; Barbed Wire slows creatures but does not stop them completely.
  • Reserve Lucille for important fights if you want to preserve its 256 durability.
