Linked Portal Arsenal

Quickstart

1. Craft the Linked Portal Arsenal with .
2. Hold it and use it (right-click) while aiming at a solid block within 64 blocks. This places an orange portal on the face you target.
3. Use it again on another block face to place a blue portal.
4. Walk through either portal to emerge from the other. Place the item again to move the next portal of that color.

Overview

Linked Portal Arsenal gives you one non-stackable item for setting up a personal pair of portals. The orange and blue portals link when both are placed in the same dimension, letting you move yourself and other living entities between their locations.

What It Adds

• Linked Portal Arsenal: Places portals in alternating orange–blue order.
• Orange and blue portals: Distinct, animated openings that transport entities between them.

How To Use

Aim at a solid block face and use the item to place a portal there. The first placement is orange, the second is blue; each later use replaces the portal of the next color in that sequence. Aim at a block again to reposition it.

Walk through the opening to travel to its partner. Portals only transport entities when both are in the same dimension. The pair belongs to the player who placed it, and living non-spectator entities can also pass through.

Abilities And Mechanics

Portals are placed on the face of the targeted block. Their orientation follows that face, so consider the approach and exit direction when choosing locations. Movement carries through the portal and is redirected toward the destination’s outward side.

Progression And Strategy

Try placing the pair on open, easy-to-reach surfaces first. Once you know how the exit is oriented, use the portals to create shortcuts or send approaching entities elsewhere. Reposition a portal whenever you want to change the route.
