Quickstart

1. Craft an Intention Chip loadout item and gear up with Coder armor, the entry-level set.
2. Fight Matrix Rivals (zombie-type enemies wielding Intention Chips) to gather crafting materials and experience.
3. Craft a Matrix Core, then use it to build a Neural Shield Projector and boss-summoning sigils.
4. Craft an Overlord Sigil and right-click to summon the Matrix Overlord — defeat it to prove you're ready for Psionic gear.
5. Upgrade through Psionic and Architect armor and weapons as you defeat tougher enemies.
6. Craft a Void Sigil to summon the Void Enforcer, the final challenge, when fully equipped.
7. Drink a Limitless Pill for a temporary boost when you need an edge in combat.

Overview

Limitless Matrix Questline turns your survival world into a gear-and-boss gauntlet themed around a digital "Matrix." Wandering Matrix Rivals patrol the world armed with Intention Chips, dropping the raw materials you need to build armor, weapons, and support gadgets. As you grow stronger, you summon two increasingly dangerous bosses — the Matrix Overlord and the Void Enforcer — using crafted sigils, each acting as a gate to the next tier of equipment.

What It Adds

Enemies

• Matrix Rival – a wandering hostile mob that hunts players and always carries an Intention Chip.
• Matrix Overlord – a durable boss summoned with the Overlord Sigil; the gateway to Psionic gear.
• Void Enforcer – the toughest boss, summoned with the Void Sigil, meant for fully-equipped players.

Items

• Intention Chip – core crafting material, dropped/carried by Matrix Rivals.
• Matrix Core – advanced crafting material used for high-tier gear and sigils.
• Limitless Pill – a consumable that grants the player a boost when eaten.
• Neural Shield Projector – a usable gadget that projects a defensive effect around the player.
• Matrix Overlord Sigil / Void Enforcer Sigil – consumable summoning items for each boss fight.

Armor Sets

How To Use

• Fighting Matrix Rivals: These roam the world and actively target players. Defeating them is your main early source of Intention Chips.
• Summoning bosses: Craft the appropriate sigil, then right-click (use item) to summon the boss at your location. This only works while playing on a server-backed world (standard singleplayer/multiplayer survival — it will not trigger in purely client-side contexts).
• Neural Shield Projector: Right-click to activate a protective effect for yourself in combat.
• Limitless Pill: Right-click/eat to consume it and gain its combat-boosting effect.
• Spawn Egg: Use the Matrix Rival Spawn Egg like any vanilla spawn egg to place a Matrix Rival directly into the world.

Psionic and Architect armor and weapons (Psionic Saber, Architect Blade, and their armor pieces) are earned through further progression and combat as you advance past each boss tier.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Armor Tiers: Coder, Psionic, and Architect armor sets scale up in durability, defense, and knockback resistance — each tier meaningfully outclasses the last, encouraging you to keep pushing into boss fights for upgrades.
• Boss Sigils: Single-use items that summon a specific boss right where you're standing. Consuming a sigil is the only way to fight the Matrix Overlord or Void Enforcer, so save them for when you're prepared.
• Neural Shield Projector: A reusable defensive tool you can activate in the middle of a fight for extra protection.
• Limitless Pill: A consumable buff item — keep a few on hand before boss fights for an extra edge.

Progression And Strategy

1. Early Game – Explore and fight Matrix Rivals for Intention Chips. Craft Coder armor and the Code Katana for your first real combat kit.
2. Mid Game – Gather diamonds and ender pearls to craft Matrix Cores, then build a Neural Shield Projector and an Overlord Sigil. Summon and defeat the Matrix Overlord to unlock access to Psionic-tier gear.
3. Late Game – With Psionic gear equipped, gather the materials for a Void Sigil (obsidian, Matrix Cores, and a blaze rod) and prepare thoroughly — potions, shields, and full armor — before summoning the Void Enforcer, the mod's ultimate test.
4. Ongoing Play – Continue farming Matrix Rivals for Intention Chips to maintain your gear, and use Limitless Pills liberally to push through tough encounters.
